Pleased that Delilah has gone top 100 on iTunes. :) I don't know if she'll ever get a hit like 'Go' again but 'Love You So' and 'Breathe' were both fantastic, I really want to get this album when it comes out!

I never understood how Go was so big. I LOVE the song, just I didn't really hear it anywhere, and it was in the charts for ages! Maybe it was just so good that it only needed a few plays on Radio 1 each week to stay in the chart.

Next week, I hope Conor Maynard and Karmin can both go top 10, and I hope Madeon does aswell.

Yay go, Elton!

Love how he always manages to bounce back to charts. How many stars of the 70s can score a hit single in 2012? He's a legend.

I hada feeling elton would do well with this - its had ALOT of airplay for the past 5 weeks on radio 2!

The more weeks that they ain't much new releases, the higher Need You Now gets.

Only 2 main contenders next week, meaning there could be a chance of it's reaching top 10.

WE WANT RITA!

We should all go on twitter of the record company rita belongs to and to ritas twitter itself to demand the release of her new single NOW!!

They might actually stand up and take notice - i swear people in record companies dont understand the charts these days and how they work - people on here are much more aware how to market a record to get to no1!!

Rita Ora is signed to Jay-Z's label I think. I do want her to release her song asap tbh. We need movement in the top 10.

On a semi-related note, she's already announced a new US single (since How We Do has flopped there). It's called Radioactive. I think she should've tried R.I.P, but hopefully her new song is good. Could be her 4th #1 here. :drama:

Rita seems like one of them artists that's going to get loads of #1 singles in the UK, i dont see her breaking America just yet though.

I think Rita has potential in the US. I mean, she is on a good record label. She just needs a better song, I think How We Do is pretty average, and doesn't really make her stand out much from anybody else, which is important for new artists imo. R.I.P, would've been better, since it's similar to a few recent hits like Talk That Talk and E.T., but not much else.

46. Angels - The xx

Just as I mentioned how common a charted song title 'Angel' is! Okay, so this is one letter more than that but still :P I haven't heard this yet but fantastic to see The xx back and so high already  Their second album should easily go straight to #1 although it probably won't outsell 'xx' overall.

However, there's another new 'alternative' song released (presumably) OA/OS higher than that:

43. Love Someone Else - Lower Than Atlantis

I've heard a couple of this band's songs on Radio 1, they're not the worst thing ever. Really surprised they have enough of a fanbase to get to #43 on iTunes even as an OA/OS release. Hope this can be a top 100 hit for them officially, as above I haven't heard this but always good to see more rock bands in the chart.

55. Hold On - Sean Paul

Ooh, he could get a third hit off this album then :o Was fully expecting him to return comfortably to flopsville after 'She Doesn't Mind'. Why is this climbing so fast? 'Hold On' is a really generic song title as well :P

'Crew Love' up to #74 :D

84. Bom Bom - Sam And The Womp

Not sure I even want to know what this is.

Isn't The xx's next album out the same week as The Script's new one? If that's the case, they won't go to #1, but it's great to see their new song so high up already!

Frank Ocean // Pyramids  128

That's a fast climb! :o It was like 30 places lower 10 minutes ago.

It would be amazing if he has 3 songs in the top 100 on UK iTunes at the same time! I honestly never dreamed this would happen!!

Looks like Misha isn't going to go top 10.

No surprise Jennifer's new single isn't doing well. There's no music video and has it had any radio airplay?!

Ah, maybe not then - I'd just blindly assumed it would be released on a week with no other major releases. To be honest I wouldn't be that surprised if they did beat The Script though.

Annoyed Elton's not climbing really now :(

I know. He was climbing so fast yesterday (which was his release day I think), and has just kind of stopped now.

I'm pleased to see Angel still climbing though. I hope this continues.
