The highest new entry comes from Santigold, flying high with L.E.S Artistes, but the highest playoff qualifier is a mark of a dramatic change in fortunes for Alphabeat this year, Boyfriend getting them a second autoqualifier further down, while Fascination was looking like a playoff qualifier at one point.

4 of last year's top 10 fall out, Goldfrapp, one Rihanna, one MGMT and The Saturdays making way for others to rise.

The 4 new entries are all made up in here, with the other MGMT song making the biggest impact. Last year's #1 and my personal favourite Disturbia has to make do with the playoffs this year, as does other noted pop queen Gaga.

So, while the only autoqualifier from last year is the everpresent Viva La Vida, and M.I.A puts in a remarkably strong showing after a large amount of high votes from the last few voters, the clear winner of this round is Katy Perry's Hot N Cold, appealing to almost everyone who voted, and rightly so, it's an excellent pop song.

MGMT have such a bizarre run here, they swap significantly each year!

 

Great to see 'Paper Planes' top 3 and 'The Loving Kind' through, though I shall try and move that and 'Just Dance' into 2009 upping the quality even more!

 

Also excellent to see 'The Promise' tumble so much, got old quickly!
