Could do well for the mothers day market or valentines for that matter.

If a volume 2 was released outside of Christmas, it would probably struggle to sell 50,000. :( Valentines Day/Mother's Day may give it a decent debut position and peak, but it would plummet after that. I think a volume 2 wouldn't match the originals sales even if it was released at Christmas.

You might have mentioned that once or twice before :kink:

Ya i probably have, i think what is happening me and i dont mean to moan, is i want to like the album and i get excited hen kylie performs and then when she does i am left under whelmed and i have to let my steam off. Its weird as i always love a kylie performane and i find it weird i guess that im not enjoying them if that makes any sense. I know i have said the album doesnt do it for but i didnt mean to be moaning plus it hasnt stopped me supporting her either!!

You need to have Kylie in skimpy outfits shaking her ass and singing dancey tunes? :P

I must say that I have been enjoying her performances more this "era" I love seeing everything stripped backed to just her and the music with very little

or no dancers and projections.

I dont think youve been moaning at all. If you dont liek something or are not feeling it you have every right to express how you are feeling xxxxxxxxxxx

I do like a bit of Kylie shaking that ass. Its not that i want the big show for her performances either. For example i know if Kylie had performed Flower on some of the shows she has promoted on i would have it, as i do like a Kylie ballad. So i guess its more to do with the song, another example was i loved and still love all the lovers and always enjoyed any of her performances of the song whereas i wasnt so keen get outta my way so enjoyed those performances less even though she did shake that ass.

I guess all in all, abbey roads is one of those albums that will nicely in the collection for me but wont be one of her albums i will have to worry about ruining the cd from over playing, where as light years for example i did have that problem with. The one thing outisde flower that im loving about the abbey roads album is it has made non kylie fans take a little bit more notice of her. Now i never thought Kylie was a one trick pony but many did and if anything this album proves she isnt.

I also have to add Kylie had never made the same album twice, i always find each Kylie album so different ( we will ignore the recent best of release!!!) but each kylie album to date has shown a different style to her. When she had huge success with fever many would have followed it up with a fairly similar style album but she didnt, she went in a whole new direction. I think as it stands now and also in years to come people may realise more how different Kylie's albums are and i have and will continue to admire her for that even though sometimes i would have preferred different outcomes. An example of this for me would be i would have prefered a fever 2 to body language.

I believe Kylie has recorded Better The Devil too on ALan Carr and this will be shown during ch4's Mash Up night on 4th January. :yahoo: :cheer: :yahoo:

Well she apparantly recorded around 22 songs for this, we have 19 and some will just be re works of the same song. So I dunno if we'll get anymore songs.
#28 is good and sales of around 27-28,000. Im hoping she can hang onto a top 40 position next, no major releases so hopefully she can hang on, only thing is sales will start and some old album could knock her out.

Shame she dropped considering the Alan Carr promo. Hopefully it will hold on.

Sales this last week are still quite large, especially considering Sunday and Monday would have been big sales days.

I expected her to drop, my hope was it would be top 40 this week so hopefully it will hold on. Hopefully alright sales too again this week, even 10,000 would bring nicely up to near 185,000.
Delighted she stayed top 40 even if its just by the skin of her teeth. Still she manages to be top 40 for the start of 2013. Hopefully she doesnt completely plummet next week now.
I think at best, she'll have similar falls until she's out of the Top 100. Still, a chart run of 02-07-18-25-36-34-25-28-40-52-64-76-88-100-x isn't that bad.
Hellova lot better than the 8-25-44-56-76-OUT run I feared might happen.
Im happy with the chart run so far. I also expected something similar to what you said Regina. Hopefully she can stay top 75 for at least 4-5 weeks more. All this also helps increase her weeks spent on chart which is nice to see increasing too.
