This, I definitely prefer Burqa. I kinda wish she could incorporate some of the quirkiness like the HAR HAR HAR HAR's into this - as it's all a bit too throwaway from a Gaga release, but like I say, I am very much liking it.

It's nothing like anything from her before, everything about it feels generic though, but it isn't. I like it a lot but it just isn't lodging in my brain at the moment. But yeah I'm definitely enjoying it atm.

I came so close to approaching her at the Born This Way Ball RE:backing dancer appointment. Actually, I'd even settle for being her tour bus cleaner. :snif: BUT the damn security at the show preached that I calm down or they'd throw me out.

A bit late to the party! But this is quite incredible isn't it? It's very easy on the ears and the safest single she's had since Telephone which is all benefitial after the marmite reception the BTW era had.

She noticed me on numerous occasions but insists on rejecting me. :snif: I waited 6 hours at the airport when she arrived only to be rejected and then at the concert again. But come the ARTPOP Ball, all that will change! :D

So underwhelming... Got bored at 1.20 minutes into it. She needs to stop ripping off Bowie and over promising, she's a fool of she believes in her own hype.
This is definitely a grower, I'm so glad she's back to her more fun sound. No time for another BTW mess.

SO underwhelmed!! And tbh I was secretly rooting for her - I was reminiscing over Telephone/Bad Romance recently and how exciting and fresh those sounded. How did her record label let this be the lead single? I don't find it particularly bad or anything but it doesn't have anything really going for it to me. I think her fans will love it and it'll obviously sell incredibly well at first, but will fall fast... Even if Katy's new song underwhelmed me, I can still hear the huge hit potential of it. The lyrics are also really alienating tbh, even if I get the references.

 

Also, "I guess sir if you say so some of us just like to read" is my least favorite line of this entire year...
