Some good success for new entries here as SHM, Marina and Katy B all just fall short of the top 20 whilst Florence and Kanye come close to the top 10 but weren't too near in terms of points. Three songs drop out of the top 10, Lady Gaga and Cee-Lo who were only just inside it last year, and Eminem & Rihanna who fall from 4th. They make way for two songs that almost made the playoff last year and the highest placed qualifier.

Kelis and Tinie Tempah qualify moving from just outside to just inside the top 10. It's a reasonably static section with Marina, Kylie, Rihanna/Drake and Alicia occupying 4th-7th after being in 5th-8th last year. Rihanna drops out from auto-qualification with 'Only Girl (In The World). Therefore we have another qualifying song which has gone straight to the final

Perhaps something of a surprise this one, but Hurts ran away with victory in qualification so it's not a great surprise to me. It joins 'Telephone' and the comfortable winner from Robyn who stay in the same position as last year.

Oh. :( I don't understand the sudden surge in love for Wonderful Life, it's all very lovely but not amazing and I think Alicia would have been a far better direct qualifier.

 

Rather pleasing results otherwise, yay for Lena staying up for next year and Alexis doing a small climb. Boo at Love The Way You Lie falling out of favour but otherwise the playoff qualifiers are fine enough.

Huzzah for Hurts!! Deserves its place in the top 3 IMO.

Wonderful Life top 3, really?! :o It's very good but not THAT good, didn't think it was such a Buzzjack fave to beat the likes of What's My Name, All The Lovers and Hollywood!

 

All my very faves top 35 (shame Naturally couldn't be there too though), Higher and Cosmic Love are too low however!

Pretty shit results, disappointed at Katy not getting any Top 10s, and of the top 5 - I only like 2 songs, I hate Wonderful Life and Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart, and I don't like Dancing On My Own :(

That's not a bad set of results actually. Nice to see 'Wonderful Life' get some appreciation. Pleasantly surprised by how well 'Oh No' and 'Katy On A Mission' did as well. And of course 'Dancing On My Own' is a fantastic winner. I wouldn't really consider 'Telephone' anything special though, but a brilliant top 10 on the whole.

 

The only dropouts I'm particularly disappointed at are 'Commander' and 'Empire State Of Mind Part II'. I wouldn't consider either particularly surprising, the former in particular hasn't really aged well, and it's only been 2 years. Surprised at 'California Gurls' more than anything else.
