September 28, 201212 yr On first listen - I really love "Wrath Of God". So excited for the new album now - although I did quite like "Plague" also, this is however on another level of greatness. :D

October 26, 201212 yr http://www.the-fly.co.uk/feature/first-lis...al-castles-iii/ Child, I Will Hurt You Concluding ‘(III)’, ‘Child, I Will Hurt You’ is the biggest curveball Crystal Castles have ever thrown us. Despite the threatening title, the track itself is soft and gentle, from its twinkling start to luxurious end. There’s a nagging feeling the whole way through that it’s about to break into a more familiar storm of scuzz but it never comes. Instead, Alice and Ethan opt for a more festive route, sounding not unlike East 17’s winter classic ‘Stay Another Day’. 40-minutes ago, the Canadian duo achieving a Christmas number one would have seemed laughable but now, anything feels possible. Hmm.
November 2, 201212 yr VIOLENT YOUTH    THEM TRACKS KEEP LEAKING / PREMIERING ON BBC RADIO 1. Edited November 2, 201212 yr by Conderella
November 3, 201212 yr Author oh my good GOD. i am so in love with that! WEEPING INTO MY SIG you fabulous creature.
November 3, 201212 yr VIOLENT YOUTH IS MARVELLOUS. As is 'Wrath Of God'. Plague and Affection aren't exactly what I want from CC tho. I appreciate the extensive Witch-House influence however. IT'S COOL. CC1 and CC2 are both in my top 5 albums of all time, so to expect anything even close to as good would be ridiculous*. *This did happen with Los Campesinos!' third album, Romance Is Boring, but I doubt it'd happen again. November 5, 201212 yr Tracks like 'Transgender' and 'Mercenary' really sound like they could be from a proper Witch House band. This is a good thing. Gosh I (and Lewis) see them in three weeks time today. SO excited dkkasdnsadns. Edited November 5, 201212 yr by Harve
