Predictable if worthy chart topper, a strong comeback that should see her stay a 'name', and with the US success the radio is hardly going to turn its nose up! The 'Ghetto Baby' demo is still a cut above Cheryl's version - you can't argue with those vocals. Lovely to see 'Summertime Sadness' making advances too. 'Hurricane' is a blinding tune and you'll certainly be challenging for the top again (nu Syndare much!). Interesting to see 'Electric Sky' be one of the BJSC tracks that caught on for you - very much an afterthought for the (now defunct!) Kopecka. But very much on board with the 'Sulk' appreciation.

'Hurricane' is a blinding tune and you'll certainly be challenging for the top again (nu Syndare much!). Interesting to see 'Electric Sky' be one of the BJSC tracks that caught on for you - very much an afterthought for the (now defunct!) Kopecka. But very much on board with the 'Sulk' appreciation. I could have swore you already knew my name was James! It gets referenced enough, you clearly don't pay attention :lol: I agree about Ellie, I really think it should be a very easy top 10 here for her, and who knows after that. No idea how it will do in the US but I have hope! I do prefer the Cheryl version to Lana's, but I think that's mostly because of the polished production/vocals. I think Lana suits the song more but it's hard for a demo to compete with a finished song. Thank you! Nice to see it turning into a hit for her. 23 (xx) Milla Jovovich – Electric Sky [23] - Loving this too, shame it missed the final. Are you familiar with her 1994 album? If not, get on it. I like depressed Lana too but I do actually like her uptempo numbers, they're always such a refreshing change. An album of Ghetto Baby-esque stuff would be far preferable to Born To Die 2.0 when her second album eventually rolls around. I do love Born To Die but she could use some variety. 03 It's kind of a single for both of them, which is perhaps a tad odd. It's the lead single from Naughty Boy's album but it's also going on her re-release and it might be the lead single for that too. I guess it's kind of a 'Good Time' situation! 08 :D I'm glad, it deserves to chart. It wasn't my favourite song on the album at first but it's grown and that video is beautiful (but then pretty much all her videos are). 11 I think I've seen it in a couple of charts but I'm not sure :unsure: I'm really surprised at how little love it's getting, it's just sooooooo gorgeous. Thank you for the comments! 07 Just good luck I guess, I've very much started having the courage of my convictions the last few months, I always thought 'nah this won't do well' before, but I just go for it now and thankfully it's paid off. I think I have another 2/3 potential hits under my belt too, I have no idea which one to go with this month though so we'll see. 15 Here's hoping, although I suspect it will be, the album better have stuff with more heft to it though, this is something I suspect won't stand the test of time very well. 23 Hmm, maybe not, but I like to encourage anyone to listen to it and someone who likes one of her songs is as good a target as any.
