I'm barely a beginner. I've had Last.fm for a month.

I reset my last.fm mid-2010 and the only thing I'm regretting about it is losing 800 or so Bloc Party listens. But other than that it was actually a good move as I felt my taste changed drastically around that time.

I think i've started last.fm at a really good time, as i've started to actually listen to a lot of music now.

 

It hasn't got all my plays on my phone (10000's of Gaga etc), or my old laptop (Led Zepellin, Michael Jackson, Beatles, Queen etc), so i'm just trying to make up for it now, by listening to music non-stop.

 

ADDICTED.

Ain't no way I'm resetting.

I'm toying with the idea of setting up a new account for my Galaxy SII and only having my favourite 500 singles on phone so that I can properly work out my Top 100 of all time after 12 months scrobbling.

I'd never reset mine, even though Girls Aloud are like miles ahead! It feels quite satisfying when an artist breaks into the top 50 now.

I've had last.fm for almost 3 months now and it's AMAZEBALLS. No longer does my play count include everything my family plays.

 

After about 3 months my top artists are: :heart:

#1 Nicki Minaj

#2 Calvin Harris

#3 Swedish House Mafia

#4 Steve Angello

#5 Netsky

Okay, many people seem to have lost plays for some of the artists. Mine are Loreen (300 plays) and Crystal Castles (>500 plays) mostly. :( Weird shit.

I'd lost about 500 plays each for Cody Simpson and One Direction, but they've now been restored. THANK GOD.

Is anyone else having an issue with the profile and scrobbling with iTunes 11. ? :(

I've lost so many plays for some artists. Hoping this'll be fixed soon.

It seems like it's been fixed. Only the part with the pictures before the actual Top x0's still shows the wrong data...

I could never reset mine, despite the shame of having all solo Spice Girls in my top twenty overall plated! (Yes, even Mel B and Victoria!)

 

I do like it when a new artist breaks my Top 50 overall but they need over 300 plays to do that which is quite excessive really!

I'm tempted to use the Universal Scrobbler thing that was posted a while ago just because my stats are really skewed (obviously) to artists i've been listening to in the last month since i started and not ones i've been listening to my whole life...

 

I may just do it on albums that i know i've listened to loads, and pretend i had last.fm then.
