I prefer Collide (yes, really) but Trouble is really good :o

It's funny, I was just listening to Collide on the way home, and then I come and find out her new song has leaked.

I think the song is great, but I'm not actually sure how well it'll do in the charts, just because I don't know how much radio airplay she's going to get. Collide got hardly any (considering it's Leona).

Oh I agree about Ne-Yo, I only like like 2 of his songs, and this certainly isn't one. Just lazy and dull, hope it misss #1 but I think it's an inevitable non number 1.

I agree, Ne-Yo is very hit-and-miss for me too. I hope at the very least this song being big might boost the sales of Let Me Love You by Mario (which, funnily enough, is the song that got Ne-Yo a record deal in the first place ).

67. Let Me Love You - Big Hits 2012

^ Please don't grab that SMASSHHH :( Another #1 for Ne-Yo by the looks of it

140. Midnight City - M83

186. Midnight City (Eric Prydz Private Remix) - M83

^ The remix version is on some advert. Regardless, any exposure for this brilliant song is ok with me!

Ooh yay for LMLY(UYLTLY) - that fake had dropped out of the top 100 but it's now higher than ever before. It's out on the same week as Amelia Lily and The Script (and one week after Little Mix) so it has competition but I definitely think it's looking good for #1 :D

And that explains why Midnight City was back in the top 90 for a couple of weeks recently despite me never seeing it in the iTunes top 100 :P

Some more updates:

9. Wonderful - Angel

Brilliant - now can Simple Plan please knock Trey Songz out of the top 10?

16. Language (UK Edit) - Porter Robinson

98. Language (UK Edit) - Porter Robinson

181. Language (Extended Mix) - Porter Robinson

Not holding up too badly at all so far, should be good for a second week top 15! Still extremely relieved this held onto the top 10 (and even the top 9) last week.

51. Wildest Moments - Jessie Ware

125. Wildest Moments - Jessie Ware

515. Wildest Moments - Jessie Ware

Should definitely re-peak again this week, really hope it can somehow go top 40.

63. Angels - The xx

Climbed a lot today :o Was this performed somewhere?

I quite like the Ne-Yo song, moreso than most of his past material, so I don't mind it being a hit but it's nothing in comparison to either 'You Bring Me Joy' or 'Hall Of Fame' imo. Not that Amelia stands any chance anyway. :(

Eric, it didnt leak, it premiered today on Radio1. :D

Love Leona's new song. I really hope it can get to #1!

Really glad to see Jessie Ware's "Wildest Moments" doing so well! Top 40 would be amazing, I really hope so

Oh sorry. I always assume if I see a song on Soundcloud that it's a leak for some reason.

'Trouble' is brilliant, especially Childish Gambino's rap. Really hope it's a big hit for her.

I actually like the Leona song... the 'rap' fits perfectly with the song (usually they just seem shoehorned in and can ruin the song - Ellie Goulding ft Tinie Tempah for instance). However it works and isn't your bog standard ft rap anyway. Should do well for her...

Childish Gambino is such a great asset to the song! Wasnt expecting a featured artist, and especially not him, but it really works!

I would very much liken it to 'Daddy' out of all of Emeli's tracks and that's one reason I don't see it being very big, certainly not a #1. Didn't sound anything special when I heard it earlier, shame for Leona really. Would've liked to hear an Emeli version though.

Yeah I'd agree, most similar to Daddy i'd say, but I prefer Trouble. Daddy was the weakest on Emeli's album I thought.

Love Leona's new song. I really hope it can get to #1!

Its brilliant, with oddly the best bit on my first listen being Childish Gambino, who captured the mood of the song perfectly.

I think an easy 4th #1 for her unless something absolutely massive is out that week also. Its way more commercial than Happy and that sold 80-odd-k in a 3 year old sales climate.

I think that it will be her 4th No.1!! It's a great track and it's quite different than her previous singles..

LOVE the new Leona song!

Hopefully her 4th #1, its long awaited!

Video is being filmed tomorrow, so will be here for September, hopefully not as late as Collide (one week before release)!

Decent position for Muse, I'm not fully sold on it yet, but it would be nice if it got a decent first week position before the inevitable plummet.

Leona's song is OK, it will probably turn into one of my favourite songs by her, but that probably says more about her discography :P

A couple of slightly needless updates ^_^

23. Little Talks - Of Monsters and Men

^ Grab that SMASSHHH

138. Bad Blood - Bastille

^ Not doing too badly i guess, wish they'd get a bit more airplay though

I'm sure Bastille will one day just come out of nowhere and get big, this has already outpeaked Overjoyed I think. Would be nice for them to get a top 100 hit soon...

Very nice to see Of Monsters & Men climbing too, top 20 soon :D

I've just listened to Leona's new song. She tends to be hit and miss for me but this is definitely more hit than miss. And I can definitely see the comparisons to 'Daddy', and I really love that song too. 'Trouble' needs to grow on me a bit more but I'm sure it will. I'm pretty sure it will be another top 3 hit for her.
I hope at the very least this song being big might boost the sales of Let Me Love You by Mario (which, funnily enough, is the song that got Ne-Yo a record deal in the first place ).

239. Mario - Let Me Love You :D

I'm glad I read the latter part of your comment before I tried listening to it... ;)

I liked Leona's version of 'Run' but that's about it.

Don't be so narrow minded, his part is the best thing about it.

14. Muse - Madness (Can't see this getting any higher)

21. Of Monsters And Men - Little Talks

28. Lawson - Taking Over Me (Looking likely at an [03-16-28] chart run!

33. Emeli Sande - Next To Me

36. Ryan O'Shaugnessy - No Name

37. Coverdrive - Explode

38. Karmin - Brokenhearted (This is dropping quite fast now)

53. Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do The Hump

69. Conor Maynard - Vegas Girl

88. Owl City - Fireflies

It looks like "Womping" is gonna be the new trend now. When was the last time that there was a trend setting number 1?

WAT.

LOVE the new Leona song! I really wish Emeli did a whole album of songs like this instead of dull songs like 'Next To Me' and 'My Kind Of Love'.

You mean - the sort of songs that've made her album one of the year's best-sellers? :P

I actually like the Leona song... the 'rap' fits perfectly with the song (usually they just seem shoehorned in and can ruin the song - Ellie Goulding ft Tinie Tempah for instance).

No comment. ;)

However it works and isn't your bog standard ft rap anyway. Should do well for her...

Go on Vidcapper - give it a listen... you never know you might like

I'd be very surprised - the only rap I can listen to is that before about the mid-1980's.

Don't be so narrow minded, his part is the best thing about it.

Knowing what you do about my preferences, does that seem like the best argument to persuade me to listen to it?

OK, I did finally listen to Leona-Trouble

I only liked the first 2m35s though - I suspect that's about the only part radio stations like Heart will play, too... :P

I have to disagree with Electroboy though - the rap very much sounds tacked-on. I guess her record company told her 'the only way this'll sell is if you do that'.

Personally though, I would actually buy a rap-free mix of this - I hope she is smart enough to insist on one being released...

I'm not entirely sure of what you mean, but shuffling became a trend after PRA to an extent. That's the only one I can think of.
