Isn't it clear who said it?

There's no need to jump down people's throats for making slightly inaccurate predictions!

I thought it would have missed the top 40, didin't expect it to be as high as #18 in the charts, so I assumed it missed out!

Well we'll see, it was in the iTunes top 5 Friday and Saturday so top 10 would be a bit high for it, but I can imagine it reached top 20 :o

Calm down Griff... clearly you are the one who's jumping on people's throat for no reason. Who are you here?

Formed in Manchester, U.K., in the late 1990s, this five-piece rock outfit hit big with their debut album, ASLEEP AT THE BACK. Combining socially relevant lyrics concerning the contemporary British experience with complex, passionate music, they drew comparisons with both classic rock acts of previous decades--including Pink Floyd and Talk Talk--and more contemporary bands like Radiohead, while pursuing a more mainstream path than experimentally inclined millennial bands like Sigur Ros and Godspeed You Black Emperor. - HMV

I always thought the Elbow track sounds so much like the main part of "Leave Them All Behind" by Indie band 'Ride'. It was their biggest hit...No.9 back in 1992.

Sorry guys, don't know how to do a link! Well worth checkin' out though.

I didn't care much for this song. Somewhat dissapointing to me

A youtube video?

Just copy the link as a comment, it'll be automatically a link ;)

I have always thought the voice of Elbow's singer was like Zucchero's. ;)
It's weird to think although One Day Like This has fallen 14 places, #18 is still significantly higher than its previous peak of #35. It's odd to hear such an amazing song among the mediocre majority of the chart.

SURPRISE!

Good Time

It wasn't released accidentally, stupid Reg. They brought it forward.

Calm down Griff... clearly you are the one who's jumping on people's throat for no reason. Who are you here?

How am I jumping on people's throats for no reason?

If you're talking about yourself, I thought that your comment was very rude. People have asked questions about the chart and you've been answering questions in a very abrupt tone this afternoon. Maybe people haven't seen the iTunes chart this week and they wanted to find out if a song had made the Top 40 after being released? I wouldn't want you to reply to me like that. Why am I the only one who notices this?

If you wanted to know why I am here, I am here because I want to see the chart unfold without people attacking other posters for making inaccurate predictions.

I don't want to get into an argument with you but I just want you to stop being rude to other posters.

Love it  and who said it missed top 40

Actually not :kink:

It's on Owl City's album that was released this week. Although at the start of the week it was an album only track, around Wednesday, Thursday it was made available to download separately too :cheer:
