If it's so, should I edit the chart history that it's Carly's second single?

Yes please!

This Simple Plan song is (or was - I've not heard it since) one of the most bizarre songs I've ever heard. Why's is been so successful?!

Why do you care if I'm criticising? I am in a bad mood right now, and although that's no excuse, that might be why it shows up here. You're not one to talk either though!

I think you're OK but you need to stop replying to other posters' questions in a negative tone.

Griff, I think exactly the same of you, should I just copy to you your own words?

Why do you care if I'm rude or not? (I'm not, you just see this, maybe 1-2 comments of me can be seen as it, but it's not) You expect a behaviour from people that you clearly don't do either.

I quite like it in a Jason Mraz kind of way, but didn't Simple Plan used to be a sort of nu-metal/punk act?

Yep. I used to love Ride back in the early 90's. Some great Indie bands around at that time...Lush, Inspiral Carpets, Jesus and Mary Chain, Curve...Ah, the memories! Lol

Got to love a bit of Ride. Their Going Blank Again album (which includes Leave Them All Behind) has just been remastered and reissued.

Working at Tesco or on the dole.

Do you reckon they made enough money when they were big that they don't need to work anymore? I don't really have a clue how much an average pop star would make, but they were really popular for a few years.

Well I think there was about 9 or 10 of them so whatever they made it would have split between them- so I highly doubt it :o

Oh yeah, that's true. That's the disadvantage of being in a group.

We have a little conversation with Tom on MSN. and we don't know if Simple Plan are a country band or rather a punk-rock band actually (well in the past) :D

Does the Public Enemy song sample anything or was it used in something before the Paralympics advert without ever charting? I'm sure I recognise the melody, sounds like some song Glee have covered before but they've not covered this song..

I really like it, heard it on R1 loads and it's quite similar to a Train song.

No i don't think that they made enough money to never have to work again hence why i wrote that they're either working at tesco or they're on the dole.

Maybe you heard it in the past because the song itself is from 2007?

I don't really know anything about those genres, so I have no idea tbh.

Glad to see Trey Songz get a 2nd week in the top 10! This is far from his best song though, it's very poppy and sounds like Bruno Mars (which is probably why they released it I guess ).

Well, I was right to say that Good Time needed significant sales to get Top 5, because to your suprise, it didn't make it.

Kylie was a top 10 hit on iTunes when released on a Thursday, yet only made 31. That's why I was staying Good Time, being released late in the week, would never make it this week. It WILL THOUGH NEXT WEEK!

Maybe you heard it in the past because the song itself is from 2007?

Probably, I was just trying to place where because I love the song and I'm surprised it's only just taken off.

I don't really know anything about those genres, so I have no idea tbh.

Let's say country band like Uncle Kracker/Lady Antebellum, or punk-rock like Blink 182/Green Day? :D
