Calvin and Flo team up once again for the 5th (!) single from Calvin's as-of-yet unreleased 3rd album, 18 months.

I think it's fairly obvious that it will go top 5 (hence why I've only included those), but will it give Calvin his first number one as a lead artist since I'm Not Alone or land at #2 like his 4 previous singles?

Onfirst listen, it's a little weaker than the previous 4 singles (and Spectrum) but it will probably grow on me. I would like to see him get another number one as a main artist, so i went for Number 1.
Got a gut feeling over another #2... It's a lot weaker than Spectrum, although better than his solo singles this era (not hard). It's good but I'm a bit disappointed and it doesn't really sound like a #1.
#1, there's nothing on the release schedule just yet that will get anywhere near it and "We'll Be Coming Back" was rather unlucky to run into "Heatwave".
Whens it out? october could be dodgy with the xfactor live finals beginning, could be no2!!

I think it's out on the 14th October. I never thought that Florence's voice would sound good on a dance track, but on Spectrum she sounded amazing and on this it's even better

I think anything performed on X Factor will struggle to make #1 unless it's a hyped new release, but the performance could make the difference and be the "Read All About It" to "Sweet Nothing"'s "Earthquake" if there is something high-profile out that week.

I think I said this about both of his last 2 singles but I really think he'll dodge the predictable #2 finish this time and finally get another #1.
I was going to say that they'll probably perform this on x factor as Calvin has had a massive year and Florence performed last year but then isn't Calvin banned after jumping on stage for Jedwards performance

I think something will get in the way and this'll be another #2. The number ones are likely to go

Little Mix 'Wings'

Ne-Yo 'Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)'

Owl City & Carly Rae 'Good Time'

Example 'Say Nothing'

Example 'Say Nothing'

One Direction 'Live While We're Young'

One Direction 'Live While We're Young'

Calvin Harris feat Florence Welch 'Sweet Nothing'??????????

We'll have to wait closer to release date to be completely sure of SN's chart position.

It's alright, it hasn't caught on me yet though. Plus its too early to tell, prediction thread way too early.
The song itself is weaker than his previous singles, but that riff is catchy as hell! It's a definite grower, and I predict this will get a big build up and easily sell 100k on its first week release. I went for #1 in the vote, but like others say, it all depends what else is out the same week - he'd be really unlucky to sell 100k and end up at #2 again!
I adore Calvin Harris' remix of 'Spectrum' so I shouldn't really compare the two tracks but seeing as it's the same two artists, this hasn't had anywhere near as much impact on first listen. However, I already like this more than 'Bounce' and 'Feel So Close' but at the moment I'd say I still prefer 'We'll Be Coming Back' more.

His last FOUR singles (discounting WFL) have stalled at #2, why would this one be any different?

In a way I don't call it a second track for both acts, Calvin Harris only remixed Spectrum, he was not credited as an artist.
