Posted August 31, 201212 yr Pink has revealed that Chris Brown fans sent her death threats when she made a joke about the singer on Twitter. Following Brown's performance at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards back in May, Pink tweeted: "One day if I lipsync, I hope I do it as well as him." The 'Who Knew' star, who insists the tweet was intended to be lighthearted, subsequently received abuse from some Twitter users. "The internet has created monsters. People that wouldn't have the balls to say anything in person but they get a keyboard under their fingers and, well, there's that saying, 'Anonymity is a shield from the tyranny of the majority'," Pink told News.com.au. "There are so many haters in the world, so many miserable people. It was a joke. It wasn't even meant like, 'I hate Chris Brown'. Twitter brings out the best and worst in people - myself included. "With the Chris Brown thing I got death threats for days. My favourite was, 'I will snatch you within an inch of your life'. I don't know how that works exactly, but whatever you want." Pink was also sent unpleasant messages after she was announced as the new face of cosmetics company CoverGirl. "After the announcement someone tweeted to me, 'Too bad they can't Photoshop the bitch off your face'. They were probably all proud of themselves when they were writing it. But that's our society, that's where we're at right now." Pathetic, but the key words here would be 'Chris Brown fans' :P I totally agree with her 'people wouldn't have the balls' comment, so so true. Good on her, got to give it to her she always says the right thing!
August 31, 201212 yr Who would want to even admit to being a 'fan' to that c**t anyway!! This is one of the things I hate most about facebook/twitter, people just cant say or do whatever they like without some asshole taking it seriously. Its funny I should read this post now because I was just about to post a photo to my album 'FunNy ShiT' but I can't because it might piss somebody off :rolleyes:

September 1, 201212 yr Is it just me, or are all these social network sites making fanbases more insane and creepy? Death threats over a clear joke? Like they need to defend Chris Brown as if he can't do it himself (like he even noticed the comment anyway). I love how we all have to give him a second chance for beating a woman up but if Pink comments on his lipsynching she's a goner, there can be no redemption.

Not only that but its like some fan pages (of the same artist) are always competing against each other, arent we, as fans, all there to love the artist and their work? I am always trying to promote my Pink History page, often by posting links to other Pink fan sites, sometimes my links have been taken down... wtf?!? Its like some pages have the atittude 'my page is best, you will not steal my fans!', when there is no other Pink fan page like mine about, so its not like I'm trying to 'steal' anybodies fans, I'm just spreading more Pink-love with something a little different :rolleyes: Ok I'ma shut up now, as you can tell, sometimes I get a bit angry when it comes to facebook/twitter :lol: You guys can join Pink History on facebook if you like though :o and I will love you forever!!
