Mumford and Guetta both top 20 now. 5 new entries in the top 20, not bad! (Guetta/Ne-Yo/Akon at #43).

 84. Clique - Kanye West, JAY Z & Big Sean

Obviously not going to be a 'hit' of any description but I think this is doing better in the USA than 'Mercy' did on release, so hopefully it can outdo 'Mercy' in the UK as well in that case (wouldn't be hard as 'Mercy' had a chart run of 82-x  :() Incredible song. I wonder if 'Cruel Summer' will be able to chart in the UK or if it'll be shunted to the compilations chart. I hope it's the former even if it's going to be a pretty big flop.

15. The Killers - Runaways

18. Mumford and Sons - I Will Wait

20. David Guetta Feat. Sia - She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)

21. Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks

23. Otto Knows - Million Voices

35. Avicii & Lenny Kravitz - Superlove

Clique has been released pretty early in the week, whilst Mercy was released in the UK on like a Thursday or something, so I think Clique will hopefully outpeak it.

Amelia Lily's lead had increased to 0.15, but the whole top eight are in red. Hopefully Cheryl can overtake Tulisa and/or Public Enemy by the end of the week to get an official placing of #12 which would be an achievement after the lack of promotion for "Under the Sun".
Lack of promotion? She's Cheryl Cole. She's at the point of her career where a video and a performance is enough. It was top ten on radio last week!

Amelia will start trailing off tomorrow, I expect Ne-Yo to be number one on iTunes on Wednesday. Top 3 is a fantastic achievement for Amelia though!

12. Tulisa - Live It Up

13. Cheryl - Under The Sun

19. David Guetta & Sia - SheWolf (I don't know how people expected this to do well, it's hard poor airplay at the moment, I expect it to climb in recent weeks)

32. Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China

36. Coldplay - Paradise

39. David Guetta & Ne-Yo - Playhard

46. Coldplay - Viva La Vida

48. Coldplay - Yellow

51. Coldplay - The Scientist

54. Conor Maynard & Ne-Yo - Turn Around

69. Coldplay - Fix You

74. Psy - Gangnam Style

I'm a crazed fan, I can make up any excuse that I want! :P I do agree that that should be true, but for some reason it hasn't worked with this album. I still think she'll perform on The X Factor anyway for another big hit.

Kanye West, JAY Z and Big Sean - Clique  #80, i LOVE this song especially Kanye West's verse... that man is a genius, Cruel Summer is going to be epic but i do think they have released too many of the songs before the album has been released.

Yeah, I agree. Songs have gone top 10 on much less promotion than what Under the Sun has got so far (relevent example being Flo Rida's current song). That said, Under the Sun isn't as chart-friendly as I Cry.

I'm very excited for the album too. I don't have a problem with the amount of pre-album singles. Pretty much everybody else releases half their album before it actually comes out anyway, so at least they're all even.

It'll be interesting to see where the album charts in the US. I think they're in quite a competitive week (Kanye ALWAYS does this though ).

Just to say, I am SO glad Tulisa is looking likely to miss the top 10 this week. Utterly horrible excuse of a song from a horrible person.

Amelia Lily has to be the second biggest surprise #1 of the year if it's there officially, behind Florence. The song has actually kind of grown on me, and she is stunning.

I think we could have a fair few new entries in the top 40 this week after all:

Amelia Lily

Tulisa/Tyga

The Killers

Mumford & Suns

David Guetta/Sia

Otto Knows

David Guetta/Ne-Yo/Akon

Avicii/Lenny Kravitz

and a re-entry for Coldplay.

Nicki Minaj is releasing a new single this week or next too which could be a suprise high entry. I don't know why though, especially after there are so many amazing tracks on the album already and all she's released is Starships and PTA

Think she's just cashing in on the Christmas period :(

 4. I Cry - Flo Rida

 5. Wings - Little Mix

'I Cry' has stopped climbing at the rate it was clearly, although still making good progress. The top 3 are pretty far ahead of him though.

Mumford & Sons  #17, David Guetta  #18 and #35. I don't think 'Play Hard' will make the official top 40 this week unless it picks up a lot (would probably need to at least go top 20).

Conor Maynard/Ne-Yo  #53, seems to be doing really well so far after 'Vegas Girl' turned out to be a complete non-hit. I was expecting 'Turn Around' to do an 'Explode' but get stuck at the not top 100 phase without a platform to boost himself :P I suppose having Capital on board for 'Turn Around' is helping a lot though.

Adele at #66 with 'One And Only' so it should definitely become a sixth top 100 hit off '21' (not bad for an album which only had three properly pushed singles :P) and a tenth overall. 'Gangnam Style' back  to #67, 'Clique' to #75 (not climbing very fast so far :(), 'Angels' at #81 and #84.

It depends. She released other pre-album singles like Roman Reloaded, Stupid Hoe and Roman in Moscow, and they didn't do well in the charts for some reason. So it could go either way.

I think a re-release is actually a good idea for her in a way. This whole album campaign has been an absolute disaster for her, and she's now ended up as the most hated artist in the world. Nicki seems scared to have a flop single, and since there's nothing left on her album that will go top 10 in the Hot 100, the only option for her now is to get back in the studio with RedOne and make some new songs.

Most hated artist in the world?

Evidence if you're going to make such a claim?

"1,327,234 people like this"

Or the dislike bars on her music videos:

Stupid Hoe:

Beez in the Trap:

I Am Your Leader:

She's overtaken Justin Bieber as the most hated.

Not to mention, she's very attention-seeking and desperate. Like her Mitt Romney comment recently.
