Hall Of Fame has nothing on any of their songs from their debut in all honesty, really like The Script though.

Even if Amelia is #2, thats amazing for her. :o Misha B made #11 with her debut, so its a big achievement.

I'm in the same boat when it comes to 'Hall Of Fame'. However, I am really liking their new album. It's a very nice album. Not too different to what they're most known for, but different enough to stop them becoming quite samey.
Their first album was just breathtaking, and an incredible debut. Their second was decent, and had some standout tracks, but most were just meh. Haven't even listened or tried to listen to the third and i was a MASSIVE fav of them initially! :o

I don't get the love for 'She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)', it's absolutely terrible. Shakira's 'She Wolf' is by far superior!

Of course it is ... And that video :whip:

 21. Clique - Kanye West, JAY Z & Big Sean

 34. Gangnam Style (강남스타일) - PSY

 39. Angels - The xx

Brilliant to see 'Angels' cracking the top 40 again :D Second version still at #74 also.

Coldplay still have six songs in the top 100 (POC #33, Paradise #50, VLV #64, Yellow #70, TS #73, FY #77).

01. Amelia Lily - You Bring Me Joy 100%

02. The Script - Hall Of Fame 100%

03. Ne-Yo - Let Me Love You 100%

Amelia to drop down to #03 soon, C'mon Ne-Yo second week at number one please!

10. Sam And The Womp - Bom Bom 50%

11. David Guetta & Sia - She Wolf 50%

C'mon Guetta :cheer:

Ne-Yo isn't gonna be number 1 on Sunday, The Script are more likely than him to be number 1 if Amelia Lily doesn't stay there. The Script are already number 1 combined.

Can't remember ever seeing three songs on 1.0000 on LPB at once.

Imagine if the whole top 100 songs were on 1.0000, that would be sick!

Their first is one of my all time favourite albums. I love it so, so much. Absolutely gutted 'Rusty Halo' wasn't a single though :( (That should have been in place of 'Before the Worst' and the singles from that album would have been 100% amazing.) The second album is so good too. Although it definitely took it's time to click with me after it's initial peak. This new album seems to be going a similar way with me though.

I don't get the mass hype surrounding it either, but I definitely prefer it over Shakira's song!

It probably would've happened before in the past sometime, if they rounded the pop bars as much as they do now.

So Rihanna's new single from her seventh album will be premiering on Monday?

Amazing that she's on her 7th album already - it feels like just a couple of years since I bought her debut single!

Am I right in saying that buying an EP is like the internet version of buying a CD? because you can't get seperate remix versions of a song by CD instead you get all the remix versions put together just like when you buy an EP.

Aren't they usually referred to as 'bundles' in the download context?

Taylor's doing incredibly well! Proof the on air/on sale can work in the UK! Good Time still holding up well too! :cheer:

She's sold more of this in the 1st 3 weeks than she did of Love Story!

I always thought "Love Story" had quite a slow start given how big I remember it being, didn't it open with less than 30k? At the time I would have rather had it at #1 than Kelly Clarkson but the fact that pre-WANEGBT the rest of her output was the same simplistic twaddle spoilt it a bit. I don't mind LS in isolation, though.
IIRC Coldplay's 'Paradise' the week after it was #1 is the only time since 'Love Story' that sales for #2 have been lower.
As a result of what's happening on iTunes this week Example has a golden opportunity to be number 1 next week.

Yap, poor competition, I wish he can make it.

LS opened with 11,630 on 28/2/2009, but that was at #22 - it was the following week she reached #2, with 33,261. In fact she sold >40k for the following 2 weeks, when she was just #5...

Damn really wanted Amelia #1 officially, hope she at least sticks top 2!
