A good song is a good song at any time of year.

I would like to think the same but with "DNA" down to #11 already I can't deny timing is a very important factor too.

"Change Your Life" is at #79 on iTunes and is the only album track that's in the top 100 (besides the singles). It will be most sensible to choose this as the next single as people have already shown interest in this song.

"Pretend It's OK" is my personal favourite, but for the next single I think "Change Your Life" will be the best choice.

Stereo Soldier is such a let down to me, I thought it'd be one of my favourites from the previews but it doesn't really deliver to me. All the other songs sound better in full imo, Stereo Soldier is the only one where it didn't match/exceed my expectations.

'Change Your Life' is the best option for single #3 imo. I hope they do go with it and release it pretty soon.

Miss Andrea Burke AGOG!

Funny you mention her, I think they'll have a career very similar to herself.

Haven't listened to the album yet, too busy listening to Rihanna & Nicki's new offerings but I'll give it a go soon.

I'm not sure. If they keep churning albums and don't WAIT too long.

The latest they should have a second album is Spring 2014. Only if they are traveling like Cher Lloyd currently is.

That said,

CYL for third single. I don't want TYF as one, but if it sells the record, so be it.

I want "love drunk" or "case closed" but I doubt it.

I forget where the link is but they are casting new video. The actor is a young make who got a callback or booking.
Love this album although I think my highlights are going to be different to others when it comes for album tracks. My current favourites are Red Planet and How Ya Doin'
As well as the obvious (TYF & CYL) i'm really, really getting into 'Madhouse'! It's so crazy and awesome! I'm imagining such a good video for it and it'd be a perfect follow up to the 'DNA' video, which ended on a "TBC". Lol.

Can't stop playing the album  My top 5 would be:

01 DNA (oh my GOD the unplugged >>>>>>>> life)

02 Wings

03 Change Your Life

04 Madhouse

05 Going Nowhere

why is cannonball not on this album?

Is is on one or two editions, just not the standard

Nope "Cannonball" is not on the album at all, they've officially abandoned it and are pretending it's never happened

It's not a case of pretending it never happened, it will always be remembered due to being a winner's single and being a #1 hit. I never see why they put the winner's singles on any albums anyway, because it is never what they would want to record as artists, so I am personally glad they didn't put it on. If people want it, buy it on iTunes, it doesn't need to be tacked onto the end of the album is such a clunky fashion.

Has anyone seen how well the album is doing in Australia and New Zealand? Currently sitting at #1 comfortably on both iTunes :drama:

The other version is also in the top 10. #4 in New Zealand and #6 in Australia.

Little Mix will be fine, they're selling more than The Saturdays anyway. DNA should have been a bigger hit though, good pop song, baffling really.

Love this album as well think its very strong for a debut not one track I'm not liking at the moment.

Favourties

1. Pretend Its OK

2. We R Who We R

3. How Ya Doin'

4. DNA

5. Stereo Soldier

I genuinely can't stop playing this, or at least, like, I'm playing the same like... 5/6 album tracks that I absolutely adore.

I already love Wings and DNA, but I can't stop playing Pretend It's OK (a better ballad than Change Your Life for me), and I'm playing Change Your Life, Turn Your Face, Madhouse and Stereo Soldier a lot too.

Change Your Life is amazing! It needs to be the next single!

They are already casting extras for their next music video. The video shoot will take place next Wednesday and at the moment they are looking for two gay boys who would feel comfortable kissing each other in front of the camera, a little bully kid who should look bigger than his age, and some other school kids who are to be the victims.

It has to be "Change Your Life". All other song choice won't make any sense.

Oh wow, still doing really well in Australia, it's slipped a bit in New Zealand but hopefully it's doing well on physicals and can get good chart placements and sales in these countries too.

Glad they've got castings for the next video already, hopefully they can get it out soon and can keep momentum up for the album.

I found out where album charted. If anyone's wants to know PM me. :)

It's an incredibly poor album. :( It starts really well with Wings and DNA being the best two songs on the album and the only songs than can be singles. Then it goes to Change Your Life and Always Be Together which are typical filler material... Weird as it's so early in the album. It goes to Stereo Soldier which is a nice albumtrack. Pretend It's OK is boring as hell, another filler. Finally, it goes to Turn Your Face...which I could understand people might think it's also boring, but it's just so beautiful. The girls sound incredibly amazing, although the emotion is a bit overdone. Other girlgroups members have already succeeded in providing emotions when singing ballad without overdoing it. However, it's still an incredibly beautiful ballad. I wouldn't mind it as a final single. We Are Who We Are and How You Doin'? are also filler material. But then, finally, you got some really great tracks : Red Planet, Going Nowhere, Madhouse. The three best tracks on the album, I suppose. It's not very hard when more than half of the album is awful, I guess... I could see Red Planet or Madhouse as a single.

About the bonus tracks...Drunk Love is clearly a bonus track material. So is Make You Believe...But how they let Case Closed as a bonus track is beyond me. It's so so so good.

I'm really disappointed, Jade and Perrie have great voices (the other two are incredibly weak vocalists) but the material isn't right. They need more uptempos like Wings and DNA, and more ballads like Case Closed and Turn Your Face.

Here's my DNA : The EP on iTunes because I can keep this album like that :

01. Wings

02. DNA

03. Turn Your Face

04. Case Closed

05. Red Planet

06. Going Nowhere

07. Madhouse
