Loads of TVs coming up next week and week after - Daybreak, Sunday Brunch, This Morning and more besides...Sarah Thomas (Olly's manager) also Tweeted last night that apparently Olly's performance on Sunday night calls for 'a drag queen, midgets and clothed animals...' Sounds intriguing...!

Not winning The X Factor has ultimately been the best thing that happened to Olly Murs.

It would appear my single has dispatched, the first non-Kylie CD single I have bought in a year.

I love how Olly makes himself accessible to every show - Hid album and as is showing already the single will be massive for him.

#2 on the itunes chart already :)

Still hoping Girls Aloud win this battle though

He's #1 and still has the XF and a heap of other promo to come - GA don't have a chance now IMO

I'm not counting my chickens just yet but wow! Number 1 in less than 12 hours...so proud of him. I just wish there was an ideal world where he and the girls could both be number 1. It's quite saddening looking down my Twitter feed and seeing both the fanbases bashing each other over the head and slagging each other off!
Glad to see Olly is number 1. I like Girls Aloud's new one but prefer Troublemaker. Thought I'd post in here otherwise it will cause arguments in the main iTunes thread. :)
I know I'm staying well away from that thread!

Yeah, I think it's best too.

How does the album sound by the way? I've got the first two so wondering whether to get the third, although might wait till christmas because I'll be getting the Little Mix one.

The album sounds like "typical Olly Murs", but with some progression. I'm really liking the sound of the clips. (I think the clips were posted on a youtube video on the page before)

Okie dokie. Thanks. I'll have to give them a listen. I didn't like his first album as much but his second was really good so I'm hoping i'll like this more. :)

I am really over this song now :( something about it just isn't clicking. Hoping that my CD single will arrive and I will get into it again.

Well I've heard the 5 track album sampler through a friend and it's exciting to say the least...obviously if you've seen Popjustice in the last few days they had the exclusive of 'One of These Days' which is a really lovely ballad - quite a country-ish sounding one too. He's learning to play the piano for that one on the tour next year. 'Dear Darlin' is another brilliant track - that one's a mid tempo and it's really chilled out, it reminds me of 'Heaven' by Emeli Sande and 'I Could Say' by Lily Allen.

The next single is a track called 'Army of Two' which is the opening song on the album and it's quite simply one of the best if not THE best song Olly's ever done. He wrote it as an anthem for the fans (cause he calls us the 'Murs Army'). It's really epic, about 5 minutes in length, but a really big chorus and it's really catchy. Kinda like the meeting point between a beefed up 'Change is Gonna Come' meets 'The Garden' and 'Shine' by Take That!

But yeah if you wanna preview it for yourself the album sampler from his official YouTube is in the thread for the album on page 4!

So happy Olly is probably gonna be number 1, he's done me proud. This is gonna be his fastest selling single yet, bodes well for the album! I think beating GA was always gonna be the real battle, he's got album number 1 wrapped up.
