#67 Get It Started

#358 Waka Waka

#675 Hips Don't Lie

#1002 Whenever Wherever

Massive congrats to Shakira (what a lucky baby its going to be)

Also huge congrats to Eric for not masturbating for 2mins:55.

Paloma Faith 'Never Tear Us Apart' (the INXS cover from the John Lewis ad) straight in at #89. It's still showing up as 'album-only' on a pre-order 2 track single with a given release date of 22/9 on my feed for some reason so I'm not sure why it's already charting.

Bubbling Under

102. The Boys - Nicki Minaj & Cassie

127. Out of My Mind (feat. Nicki Minaj) - B.o.B

140. Va Va Voom - Nicki Minaj

193. Thinkin Bout You - Frank Ocean

431. Cherry Wine (feat. Amy Winehouse) - Nas

631. Mountain Sound - Of Monsters and Men

Shakira has just announced that she's pregnant, can 'Get It Started' get a boost now please. :kink:

Hopefully the baby will look more like Shakira instead of Gerard Pique.

It's amazing to think that this time yesterday Gangnam Style had only just got into the top 10 and now it's on the verge of number 1 and it's not as if it's the weekend when more people will have time to download music.

Beautiful by Carly Rae & Justin Bieber stalled at #42. I thought it was going to be top 40 this sunday. It's very unlikely now.

Does anyone on here know about/remember this song? apparently it was the most popular song in the UK for a period of time and they tried to ban it on Top Of The Pops. I only heard it recently on a TV programme and it's been in my head ever since.

15. Conor Maynard & Ne-Yo - Turn Around

101. Nicki Minaj & Cassie - The Boys

127. B.o.b & Nicki Minaj - Out Of My Mind

135. Nicki Minaj - Va Va Voom (I'm surprised Capital aren't playing this, I have a feeling this somehow will not be a hit)

209. Maroon 5 - One More Night

278. Fazer - Killer

I don't remember it because I was about four years old at the time, but yep, Ebeneezer Goode was number 1 for a few weeks in 1992. It's basically a cheesy novelty track about the rave scene, the Sam & The Womp of its day I guess with a bit of Relax/I Kissed A Girl/Whistle-style 'controversy' over the suggestible lyrics. Credible it was certainly not, but it's a fun listen :D (EDIT: Ok, ignore this post, I've been misinformed :P The posts below will give a much more accurate story)

Go Gangnam Style, can't believe it's doing so well!! Everyone I know seems to be aware of it, it's basically taking over the world :P

Morning update: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=4098076

59p songs in the top 100:

:left: 13 Fun. - Some Nights

 17 Cheryl - Under The Sun

 28 Professor Green feat. Sierra Kusterbeck - Avalon

 53 Plan B - Deepest Shame

 69 Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

:re: 89 Birdy - Skinny Love

 92 Ed Sheeran - The A Team

That one is debatable, as I think at #41, it was just credited as David Guetta & Chris Willis, and then at #1 it was credited as David Guetta feat. Chris Willis, Fergie & LMFAO.

Unless it was a different version including the latter, ISTM it counts!

I really am rooting for PSY to grab a week at no. 1 next week as it's gaining popularity (Gotye style). Then there's the possibility of the track returning to no. 1 in October. *.*

On what do you base that?

I only like it because of the video, the song itself is awful (and I quite like LMFAO at times).

What video? I Youtubed it & couldn't find anything official?

'Chasing Cars' isn't doing anywhere near as well as it usually does when reduced to 59p - hopefully that trend will continue to the point where it doesn't go top 100 again even on a reduction (although it never seems to leave the top 200 for any reason so it's bound to get close again every now and then). As it is though it will be back in the official top 100 and probably top 75 still <_<

It's already well past 900k, and may well reach 7 figures by the end of 2013. :)

I have tried the dance though. It was because I was bored and alone in my room. Usually I masturbate in that situation, but while I was looking for some porn I stumbled across this video of Britney Spears doing the dance, so I decided to try that myself instead:

Far too much information! :(

Well not quite. The Shamen were, at the time, a highly credible dance act with EG being a cheeky little number referencing recreational drug use of the day. It was the chorus that caused complaints to Radio One and TOTP and if memory serves an edited version was shown initially but both ended up playing the proper version having learnt the lessons of "Relax". The comparison to Sam and the Woop isn't therefore quite accurate IMHO.

*let me YouTube that for you*

MV is Korean-English for Music Video = official video. Ta-da :magic:

No, thats not right (as Gezza has said). I was 15 when Ebeneezer Goode was number 1 and it was not seen as a novelty record at the time - more of a cheeky rave track with highly suggestible lyrics (E's are good, E's are good......!).

Hope the Script make it this week to stop thye one weekers then PSY can get 2 weeks after that, the 1D for 3 weeks?

Oh dear, someone needs educating.
