Nicki Minaj will never be able to get another urban hit as big as Live It Up. Even someone like Lady Gaga wouldn't be able to (which is why she won't take that risk).

It's nowhere near. The biggest-selling atm is Next to Me by Emeli Sande, although that's more in the Alicia Keys/R&B/soul direction.

Brillant playlist this week - 3 added to the blist(have radio 1 finally got used to the OA/OS thingy by putting new songs further up the lists traight away) and brillant new additions by Nas/Amy (please check this out people - wonderful track), Jake Bugg(might just wait to buy the album on the 15/10 amd not dload the OA/OS single) and Everything Everything. Pity Jack White and M.Kiwanuka are STILL clisted.

I noticed Cherry Wine by Nas and Amy Winehouse is on the C-list. Is this going to be a single? I SO hope it is as it's a brilliant song. Not sure if I prefer it to Like Smoke or not though.

Doesn't necessarily mean Radio 1 won't playlist him. But we'll see.

Oh i know but it worries me, although there are plenty that are played by both - current example being Madness by Muse!!
