Posted September 22, 201212 yr #NewMusic from @BrunoMars, called Locked Out of Heaven, coming Oct 1st. New album coming Dec 11th. #music These seem to be some of the lyrics; http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mar499NOon1rn1qhso1_1280.png Something along the lines of 'It Will Rain' please, I'm not here for a 'Grenade' type song and especially not 'The Lazy Song'.
September 22, 201212 yr Another pop song as well-thought out as "Grenade" and he'll avoid the sophomore slump with ease.
September 22, 201212 yr Can't imagine him having a slump with this album, its going to do really well i'm sure! Looking forward to hearing his new material, he's been gone for quite a while. From the title it sounds like a ballad, probably modern ballad i'd say. Edited September 22, 201212 yr by Karma
September 22, 201212 yr Another pop song as well-thought out as "Grenade" and he'll avoid the sophomore slump with ease. !!? Unless by 'well thought-out' you mean total rehash of a corny idea to lure in dem naive prepubescent teenage girls then i don't know WHAT EVEN.
October 2, 201212 yr Just heard this. Got to admit I'm not liking it much on first listen. It's just a bit dull tbh. Hopefully it will grow. :)
October 2, 201212 yr Author Not an exact copy of his previous singles (I'd say it's more similar to 'Marry You' than any of the others) but it didn't seem overly interesting on first listen, the hook is a bit too weak. I can see it growing slightly but it doesn't get me excited for the album.
October 2, 201212 yr Really not sure about this at all. I really loved his first album (The Lazy Song aside) but this really isn't that great on first listen, sounds very disjointed and the chorus is Jahq says very weak and unmemorable, I will forget how this goes in a few seconds time. I am hoping it either grows massively or the rest of his album isn't like this.
October 2, 201212 yr I love it. The riff is so catchy. It's a progressive song opposed to one that has a huge uplifting chorus.
October 6, 201212 yr It's growing, thankfully! Not quite up to anything from his debut still though, but I prefer it to 'It Will Rain'. Hopefully he has better from his album/future singles. But like I said, it's growing on me.
October 6, 201212 yr He sounds like Sting of the Police at the very start of the track, I really thought it was Sting at first singing it  but the drums to the track really sounds like a old Police hit. The track is a grower.
October 8, 201212 yr Wow this is really great! I see the 'Marry You' comparisons but he's certainly developed his sound. It's rather up-tempo which is surprising. I have so much respect for Bruno due to him not selling out and going down the dance route. Edited October 8, 201212 yr by SceneofSIXCrimes
October 16, 201212 yr Author e-fA-gBCkj0 He seems to be going for an early Michael Jackson look. Not keen on whatever effect they've put on the video, the song is growing though.
October 21, 201212 yr Good video. First time I've heard the song and the Sting comparisons are apt, it sounds so similar to "Message In A Bottle" at times. I like that he's stuck to his guns and not gone down the dance route. The fact that the song actually mimics the structure of a lot of recent dance hits right down to the dubstep-tempo breakdown towards the end but while using real instruments works quite well, there's some clever effects in there as well. Basically I'd love it if it had a better chorus.
