:o Had heard about this but I'd forgotten all about it. The previews sound fantastic, all better than Carry You.

Sorry what. Don't even go there Joseph

Even now that they've left the show, and have had time to plaster their voices with auto-tune, they still can't make a song better than Union J !

 92. Diana Vickers - Music To Make Boys Cry (Deluxe Edition) (Pre-order)

This is currently the 2nd highest pre-order in the iTunes albums chart!

68. Tinie Tempah - Trampoline (feat. 2 Chainz) - EP

I've seen people say the pre-orders for this looked like a low top 5 but I don't see why looking at its current position. If this keeps rising I can see it being top 20 prior to release, which could see this sell over 100k, no?

That'd be because before literally today it was fluctuating between about #110 and about #160. It's now starting to look more on track for a comfortable top 5 / possible top 3. Don't think it is gonna get near 100k though, probably 75k or so at best.

I hope you're right though!

73. Tinie Tempah - Trampoline (feat. 2 Chainz) - EP (4th August)

77. Arctic Monkeys - AM (9th September)

99. Avicii - True (16th September)

125. Shane Filan - Everything To Me - EP (25th August)

191. Diana Vickers - Music To Make Boys Cry (Deluxe Edition) (15th September)

Hopefully this is a sign that Avicii can go to #1 with his debut album :cheer:

Is there going to be another single before Avicii's album comes out? Doesn't seem like long enough for there to be one, but why leave such a huge gap between 'Wake Me Up' and the album release...

'#TRUE' (has he got rid of the hashtag or is that just iTunes?) is far from the only significant release on 16 Sep so I don't think it's a guaranteed #1. Competition according to the new release schedule includes Drake, Elton John, Jack Johnson, Katie Melua, Manic Street Preachers, MGMT and Placebo (all of whom went at least top 10 with their last albums). A lot of those won't be near #1 but I think at least Drake, Elton and MSP will at least challenge for it. Also I think Arctic Monkeys' 2nd week sales might still be enough for #1, 'AM' looks set to be pretty big for them.

Looks like the music video is having an effect! :cheer:

Nothing happening in the albums - White Lies have no radio support hardly - not even 6 music so their newie is no16 & no21 on the download chart and thats prob frontloaded. They will be lucky to do 8-10k!
This is the lamest week for album releases since probably Jan, get's a bit better from next week before really taking off in September
Yea this will be the last REALLY bad week with FF next week then the start of the big 4th quarter releases on 9th sept!

Fisherman's Friends? I'm sure they'll get some sympathy sales and all but I can't see them being that massive.

I was thinking this as well :P But I think he means Franz Ferdinand. Neither of them are out next week anyway, they're both out on the 26th.

I think John Mayer will be #1 next week with his new album, the pre-order is now at #53 and was top 100 for a while when it first came out as well (plus he's gone higher with every album release so far (128-74-46-35-4) so he seems to be growing in popularity over time and he will only need 20k max to be #1 next week).

Little Green Cars might get a top 10 after the Sound of 2013 'hype' and Earl Sweatshirt's album might do something, its pre-order did okay when it was first added. Seems to be a new Travis album too, who knows how that'll do, does anyone still care about them? Top 10 contender as well possibly.

ARTPOP  #1

Released 11th November! It's going to have massive 1st week sales.
