Totally not understand whatttt the f*** UnionJ are wearing!
Didn't watch last night. Is there anything worth checking out? From the 'that was a good SINGING performance' angle instead of 'that was so entertaing' one?

Jade Ellis was amazing, and Union J were suprisingly really good too.

And please you just HAVE to watch Rylan's performance. (I know you want to :P)

01. Ella Henderson - "Lovin' You"

02. Union J - "Bleeding Love / Broken Strings"

03. Jade Ellis - "Love Is A Losing Game"

04. Jahmene Douglas - "Tears Dry On Their Own / Ain't No Mountain High Enough"

05. MK1 - "I Want You Back"

06. Melanie Masson - "Never Tear Us Apart"

07. Kye Sones - "Love The Way You Lie (Part II) / Thank You"

08. District 3 - "I Swear"

09. James Arthur - "No More Drama"

10. Lucy Spraggan - "Gold Digger"

11. Chris Maloney - "Alone"

12. Rylan Clark - "Back For Good / Groove Is In The Heart / Gangnam Style / Pump Up The Jam"

1. I liked Jahmene's song choice... It wasn't as well-sung as his performance last week, but I like that he did something mid-tempo rather than yet another predictable ballad! The key-change/heavy backing vocals towards the end of the performance were unnecessary though. I like that he understand how he had to connect with the song as well, nobody else seems to care about that on The X Factor nowadays.

2. I hated Chris's rendition of "Alone"... it's a pop/rock song and he sang it exactly the same as he sang "The Rose". Possibly the biggest 1-trick pony of the competition excluding the two novelty acts. He's so annoying himself as well. He'd be my early bet for the act to leave tonight (unlikely with him being voted the wildcard last week, but that didn't stop Amelia Lily).

3. That was the performance that Union J needed! I was majorly disappointed last week, but this one managed to showcase more of their individual vocals and their group chemistry with a bit of choreography for themselves too. It's obviously not the best version of either song ever, but they're by far the best group in this year's competition.

4. Ella was just... WOW. She's an incredible artist and already miles better than everybody else in the competition. I'm not too familiar with the song, but it was quite special to hear her perform it and get it so right. Tulisa could have easily handed her a Mariah song for the notes she performed there, it was nice to see Tulisa take a risk with the choice.

5. What the actual f*** was James doing with his hands flapping around during his performance? He is such a MESS as a contestant on this programme... He's not interested by the show at all - he'd be just like Matt Cardle if he won and forget he was ever a contestant. Didn't like the non-existant choir either.

6. Lucy is so annoying - she never fits the themes and never, you know, sings... She completely ruined a classic hip hop song. The worst thing was that it wasn't even the worst performance of the night.

7. District 3 are so boring, especially for a boyband... I fail to see how anybody would want to support them when the better-looking, better-musically Union J are in the competition. I liked that they had some solos for a change (because you can always put a cap on how much harmonising you want to hear)... I still don't see them lasting much longer though.

8. Jade is an amazing vocalist but Tulisa never gives her the right song :( I liked it a lot more than last week's performance, but she needs to do something a lot better and better-suited to her style if she wants to stay in, especially when someone 8 years her junior is blowing her out of the water.

9. That was probably the first performance from MK1 that I actually liked... I was wondering if the rapper was actually going to have any notable inclusion after just speaking the end of the girl's lines on occasion. The staging was very good also and reminded me of Little Mix's for "Super Bass" last year.

10. I liked the Rihanna section of Kye's performance, neither song was exactly suited to his voice though, but the Dido moment was just bizarre. A big step-down from previous weeks and of course his amazing audition.

11. Did Rylan actually "sing" any of his performance? Because he was clearly just walking to a backing track for the "Gangnam Style"... He remains the worst contestant since Jedward and it's awful how much more money/time they've spent on his performance than the other contestants.

12. I want to like Melanie, but I just can't seem to click with her. She's clearly got a good voice, but I don't like the big notes that are shoehorned into every performance. She's probably my favourite over 28 at the moment though, but I can't see her going far.

If you want to see a showcase in how to do an X Factor performance, watch this:

LMAO I thought it was just me who noticed this - I literally thought he was about to take off, as well as dying later in his performance.

Ella was superb then. What I expected of her last week but she didn't quite deliver then. Jade was alright, bit of a mediocre Rebecca Fergusson for me though. Not gonna bother with Union J. I DID check Rylan out and I didn't even laugh. Perhaps it's because I'm not on board with Gangnam Style, but it was too crap for a singing contest and just not entertaining enough for the joke act for me. It smacked of trying to be utterly hilarious but failing. Jedward and Wagner did all that by accident. ANd Johnny Robinson was just the best novelty act ever.

Still not bothering to tune in. Ella seems to be the only one left deserving a win.

Johnny was AMAZING. Watch his performance of CGYOOMH and TRY not to laugh I DARE YOU. Rylan looks like a limp wannabe in comparison.
Jedward >>>> Wagner >>>>> Rylan >>>>>> Johnny.

Anyone i've missed?

Chico, Kitty, Katie Waissel, Nicolo, Storm Lee, Diva Fever...

Rylan actually was awful last night. He's never amused me with any of his performances, and like T-Boy says, he tries far too hard to do so. (I did like his comebacks to Gary Barlow, but again, Johnny did it last year too so nothing new).

I see what you did there <_<

I agree Johnny was incredible, and him doing Kylie was one of the greatest performances ever  I always warm to the novelty acts!

Christopher and Rylan Clark are the favorites with the bookies to be bottom 2 tomorrow. I so hope Gary loses another act to Rylan.

That would be the perfect bottom two. That makes it very unlikely.

I doubt Rylan will be in the bottom two. Being in the bottom two last week will just encourage his "fans" to vote a little more

I'm going for MK1 vs. Christopher. I wouldn't be upset with that either

I could see Kye being in trouble tonight as well, maybe not bottom two but in the lower end of the votes.

The best bottom 2 would be Rylan vs. Christopher with Christopher going, just to see Gary's reaction

Not here for the OTT reaction it would set off from DS etc. though!
