October 30, 201212 yr This is really poor to be honest. I expected it to be a big ballad which could easily sell over 100k not a dull slow Ed Sheeran song like this! This will hardly sell 80k.
October 30, 201212 yr What a lovely little song. It's a bit dull compared to what we're used to hearing from them but I think it's really sweet and it's definitely got the "aww" factor which can transcend the tweeny target audience if done properly. I'd compare it to 'Stickwitu' in that they're both soppy ballads from 'uncool' bands and Stickwitu was a SMASH (catchier too yes, but shush). I dislike Ed Sheeran but I think after a minute or so it's easy to forget it's an Ed Sheeran song. I was expecting to like it anyway tbh after all of the negativity in this thread (because Buzzjack is ALWAYS OTT with these things). A Louis verse is welcomed too because it means we'll get more of him in the video.
October 30, 201212 yr I think the message to this song is a bit clunky and not very well executed. I completely understand what they're going for, but I feel they've missed the mark with some terrible choice lyrics. Especially "You still have to squeeze into your jeans, but you’re perfect to me." I wouldn't say that was particularly liberating, more that they're highlighting particular insecurities and saying "well yes you're right about the way you perceive yourself, but don't worry because I still love you in spite of these flaws". Maybe I've misinterpreted it, but it all seems quite insincere.
October 31, 201212 yr It's not a hit but 1D fans are gonna love it cos it's romantic. Very surprising that they're not going for radio friendly songs with all the momentum and massive team behind them. Ed Sheeran b sides? Ok then.
November 2, 201212 yr This is growing on me the more I hear it. I am really impressed with how mature it is for them! The video does it's job and is actually a pretty nice and simple video.
November 2, 201212 yr Author Yeah I love the simplicity of the video and how sweet it is, the black & white effect suits it too. Absolutely love the song now, moreso than 'Live While We're Young' and it's a great contrast. Hopefully it can be a bigger hit overall.

November 3, 201212 yr Well, this is bloody ATROCIOUS?! not even lying, Its not only massively cringeworthy, but a little bit patronising as well. Ed Sheeran's songs look extremely tame compared this. So many terrible lyrics, I think these take the biscuit: You can't go to bed without a cup of tea maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep you've never loved your stomach or your thighs the dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine Yeah, sorry, I've got nothing positive to say about this at ALL and I'm far from a h8r of their's.
