The performance itself is lovely and the vocals is just.. :wub:. However the song is rather average for me. :(

JLS had absolutely no boost from their performance at all for hours and then suddenly gained 0.2. Odd. Glad they have got a boost in any case and #3 isn't too far ahead so hopefully they can secure #3 officially this week (they should continue to gain for a while tomorrow). Forgot about SHM having an album version around which could keep them at #1 ahead of Labrinth but that battle is impossible to call at the moment!

But it sounds EXACTLY like Back For Good :unsure: I was singing "I guess now it's time..." over the verse. Also he makes Example sound like Tom Jones vocally.

It's more like songs like them aren't really my cup of tea at all. I do praise it for the immense vocals during the performance however.

I think its going to be one of the closest chart battles for a while - We have Labrinth/Emeli at #1 and #39 and SHM at #2 and #57 with the EP at #15 and the possibility of the album version charting tomorrow.

I don't even KNOW what the SHM song sounds like but for all that is good in the world (what is hyperbole?) it needs to be #1 this week.

Yeah that is quite strange. I'm really surprised this has shot all the way up to #1. I thought it might get Top 20 at the most. :lol:

Holy SHIT, was not expecting this AT all. I thought they might jump into the top 20, but that's about it :o

 

'Wonder' is also at #11, so that should make the top 10 tomorrow. There's no stopping Emeli at the minute :o

I have to say I think Emeli Sande is fantastic, I've loved all the songs she has done and featured on, that I've dediced to buy her deluxe album today as I've often downloaded her singles.

Love the song with Labrinth, first time I heard it on the X Factor tonight, so pleased to see it at #1, she's the best new female artist this year by far imo.

Yay :w00t: Thanks just found it by searching 'Steps Light Up The World' - So good to be buying a new Steps song :yahoo: Have no idea why they decided to release on a Monday rather than a Sunday though and i was hoping there would be some remixes of the track :cry:

 

With this being released on their own label and no airplay/promo its going to flop hard :cry: Really thought they might be able to have a successful comeback after the tour and 'Greatest Hits' but its not looking likely :cry:
