Surely 1D's sales will drop like a stone (a la McFly) now the first week sales surge is over?
My CD single came today! This better at least get to #2!
I was getting a little bored of this but both performances over the weekend made me love it again. Listening to this walking to the shops and it took all my willpower not to but my hands on my hips and do the strut once the music kicks in after the first "go girls go go go" chant :P
Keeping everything crossed that this holds on to #2 come Sunday! Surely the physicals and digital EPs will benefit them over One Direction.
The vinyl itself is like a sky blue colour. Doesn't have a pictures of them on it like some of their previous vinyls. The cover is the same as the cd single just enlarged :)
The Megamix is good, but has nothing on the Stars On 45 one I feel! I find it too slow to begin with, but once it gets going... :D
#1 on Google Play even though its 30p dearer. Shame Google has just launched and will have a small market share at the moment.
I can see this officially charting at number 3 now. I was 100% sure they would be top 2 with extreme ease.

It's weird but I'm not even bothered where it charts on Sunday.

"Something kinda ooh" and "Call the shots" were number 3, so I guess it's not a bad placing to end at :kink:

Anything outside the top 5 would be really disappointing, but an other top 3 is still great for them.

Edit: They're now 16k ahead of One Direction, they were 15k ahead yesterday, so even with One Direction overtaking them on Itunes last night, I don't quite see them dropping to #3.

One Direction sells 10k every day, so they can't really catch up on a 16k gap in 4 days.

On Itunes at the moment :

2 One Direction - Little Things 0.5417

3 Girls Aloud - Something New 0.5311

By my own calculations, as long as they don't drop to 0.2 on Itunes by Saturday night, they're 100% safe. And they shouldn't drop that much.

Top 3 is great, i wouldnt mind top 3 or top 5 as long as it can manage to stick around. I think the album will be harder to predict, their original Greatest Hits did very well so im not sure what % percentage of people who purchased that will be bothered to purchase 10.
I hope it sticks at #2, but if it does fall to #3 it isn't the end of the world, I just hope it sells well and sticks around a while.

I'm not convinced it will hang around, it seems to be gradually dropping all the time. :( I expect 2 weeks in the top 10.

Still, it's a killer tune.

Jesus! Where are the Alouders?! Still as long as it doesn't do a 'Headlines (Friendship Never End)' lol
