I will be very surprised if Shine Ya Light goes to #1 next week. It's her weakest song to date, I haven't heard it a lot on the radio, I can't see it having a Labrinth-type boost after her performance, as The X Factor boost works better on ballads than it does urban songs (see Ne-Yo's non boost)

If Bruno actually bothered to release tomorrow he would have the #1 easy, but if he waits a week then Labrinth will get another week by default. I would like it if Bruno and Little Mix could both be #1 but if they release on the same day then LM have no chance.

Lee, why would a lad like you be interested in iTunes?!

It's very confusing. What would your mates think?

Why would I care what other people think? It's not a crime to be interested in iTunes. I was bored and decided to post updates! Just because I'm a lad, doesn't mean that I shouldn't be interested in music? Your logic behind this is "very confusing".

Current Pre-Order (EP) places for some of tomorrow's releases

Sub Focus feat Alpines – Tidal Wave = 50

The Wanted – I Found You = 61

Misha B - Do You Think Of Me = 68

Christina Aguilera – Your Body = 80

Frankie Cocozza - The Motorcycle (EP) = 267

You get an awful lot of flack on here and certainly not all of it is deserved but

sometimes you are your own worst enemy.

I wish... :P

You have been going on for months and months about this, just move on!

I guess you're right - there'll be other songs for me to complain about, soon enough. ;)

There's dozens of chart hits every year that use the word anyway. Even some of Rihanna's songs do (like You Da One).

Surely him being a fan of The Saturdays is a bigger deal than him following iTunes.

What's My Name? and Read All About It both got big boosts from X Factor. I'm sure there's others too.

Curiously enough, I tend not to seek out such songs to listen to...

Fair enough. :coffee:

The worst one is The Motto by Drake. The catchiest bit of the song is the bit with the racial slur repeated over and over again. Even though you have it stuck in your head all day, you have to make sure not to accidentally start saying it out loud. :drama:

Obviously WMN had the whole "controversy" of Rihanna wearing very little clothes, but I'll give you RAAI - there's no way it would've sold 150k without XF. The Black Eyed Peas also got Meet Me Halfway and The Time to #1 thanks to XF, but those are VERY GOOD songs whereas Rita's is not.

The Time really is not a very good song  I actually do it like it, but it's not a good song if that makes sense? But yeah Shine Ya Light is pretty dull, I don't hate it it's just that it's just there. It leaves no impression either good or bad, it's just such a vapid song. And while I do like some of her songs (Radioactive, RIP and How We Do especially) she's still just a cheap version of Alexis Jordan, who in turn is just a cheap version of Rihanna.

I think Shina Ya Light is at least much better than How We Do, which is so boring.

And The Time is awesome!!

ALEXIS JORDAN IS NOT A CHEAP RIHANNA.

I agree. Their songs are quite different.

All of Rita Ora's songs are some level of atrocious and 'Shine Ya Light' manages to be her worst to date. Oh how I long for the good old days when it was languishing around #267 on iTunes for weeks on end.

All this Shine Ya Light hate is NOT good.

Rita's singles go like this for me:

1. How We Do (Party)

2. R.I.P.

3. Shine Ya Light

4. Hot Right Now

But I actually love all four. TBH, at least we haven't got Radioactive as a single yet, my least favourite on the album (excluding Facemelt).

Rita Ora at #15! I didnt even notice.

I like the song more than How We Do and the DJ fresh thing.

#1 next sunday, I bet.

Her 4th in a row :o

I actually love all four.

Go away.

You don't have to seek approval, just suggesting you should stop going on about it.

You know the reason black people are 'allowed' to use that word amoung themselves?

Well it's quite simple, it is cos they is black.

Call it irony, self-depreciation or simply because they want to take an abusive word

and use it positively (see:queer) to throw it back in the faces of those who would

insult them.

Well said. Couldn't have put it better myself.

Vidcapper, I like you, but you really need to start taking my advice. If you post positively, more people will like you. It's as simple as that.

Oh, and Shine Ya Light is shit. Just like all of her other songs. Worst artist of 2012 by far. :puke:

If people want to hear a song with uncountable racial slurs/effing and jeffing, and general vileness, then look no further than the delightful F**kin problems by A$AP Rocky.

Genuinly the death of music.
