November 11, 201212 yr It was a year when Cheryl was a judge and they came to her second so she refused to vote then, and said she wanted to vote last to take it to deadlock. Despite being told about 5 times she was going to lose her right to vote, refused still, so they did it to the majority of three. I thought it was Cheryl who told Dermot 5 times she was going to take it to deadlock?
November 11, 201212 yr Do how did they last this long anyway. I knew they were bound to get rid of a crap act sooner or later but I thought Ella might be out on her ear first. Maloney to win for the lols.
November 11, 201212 yr I'm predicting an all boyband bottom 2. District3 vs Union J with District3 going Actually got it right, first time with this years series! Hope for Christopher to go next!
November 11, 201212 yr Nice to see they saved that for later in the series after it was rumoured for an earlier week
November 11, 201212 yr Next week's theme is....... Guilty Pleasures. Wonder what Christopher will sing - old classic karaoke songs are normally guilty pleasures, but since he does them every week, it's not like he do one this week as it's not something he *secretly* loves! :P
November 11, 201212 yr To say the producers and Simon Cowell are trying to sabotage Christopher Maloney, they're doing a bloody terrible job of it on the actual show.
November 12, 201212 yr Author Before the producers could just make the act they want to leave perform first Now that doesn't really have a negative impact with the lines opening at the start
November 12, 201212 yr Come on own up - who keeps voting for Rylan & Chris??? :o Edited November 12, 201212 yr by euro music
November 12, 201212 yr Didn't it happen last year, or maybe 2010 where one judge had two acts in the bottom 2 and they refused to vote, so it automatically meant they lost their vote. There seemed to be a bit of uproar over the decision at the time - just can't rememeber which series it was. Doesn't Dermot look like that all the time? :D And he talks and acts so childish when introducing the show. The way he says It's The X Factor Judges - Your Saturday night starts right here - It's The X-Factor The Results - we've got ??? right here on this stage etc. At least X-Factor USA has decent presenters and the show layout is miles better to with there visits to the green room and also the way the categories are now. It makes the UK show look so lame. Edited November 12, 201212 yr by euro music
November 12, 201212 yr At least X-Factor USA has decent presenters I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that.
November 12, 201212 yr I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that. I think Mario and Khloe are great, definitely on par with Dermot for me! :D
November 12, 201212 yr Dermot has grown really tired this year, after being so lively last year. I actually find myself drifting off when he talks. Definitely needs to be replaced next year (along with Gary, and sad to see Tulisa too).
November 12, 201212 yr Dermot O' Leary was so much better when he was presenting Big Brother's Little Brother on Channel 4 a few years back. The problem with Dermot on X Factor is that everything he says is so badly scripted it's laughable. It's literally the same lines repeated each week - just alter the number of contestants left. Over the years, X Factor has always been one of the best conversation starters with my work colleagues but this year nobody is interested. Strictly Come Dancing appears to be the more popular show judging from conversations I've had at work. Even I'm A Celebrity will be the new talking point.
November 12, 201212 yr Last year the kids in my classes could talk forever about X Factor. I teach in a different school this year, but I doubt that's the reason no ones talking about it.
November 12, 201212 yr Plenty of my friends are still talking about it, but more in an enraged 'MY FAVOURITE BOYBAND ARE OUT, AND RYLAN'S STILL THERE, IT'S A FIX' way.
November 15, 201212 yr Plenty of my friends are still talking about it, but more in an enraged 'MY FAVOURITE BOYBAND ARE OUT, AND RYLAN'S STILL THERE, IT'S A FIX' way. I don't think the first week and the controversy surrounding Rylan staying has done the show any good in the long term this series. The short-term boost was there to see, ut now so many more people think it is a fix and everything is manipulated. Which of course it always has been, just people couldn't really see it before.
