Were we right about the primaries?

There is a Spanish expeession that says 'incluso un reloj roto da la hora exacta dos veces por dia'. Even a broken watch will tell the time right twice a day!!

And yet your every prediction has been wrong? I don't need to be able to google and quote a foreign language to know that screaming momentum anyone time any questions why you hold a viewpoint does not provide any proof or substantive evidence to back it up.

Look, don't get me wrong, Trump IS gaining, but it isn't at her expense. Republicans have been ''coming home'' this week after the sexual allegations have died down, she's lost relatively little ground at all. If her numbers tank as a result of this FBI non-story then yeah, maybe we'll be looking at a nail biter but right now the numbers simple DO. NOT. SUPPORT. THAT.
Fascist joke Donald Trump has turned a 12% disadvantage into a stastical tie in 4 days. So ...

What's with the "sky is falling!" routine over one poll? You look at averages and different outlets have her lead still between 3.8 and 9.2 points, depending on how they average polls and whether it's a 2/3/4 candidate race: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationwide_op..._election,_2016

I would have thought Romney was a shoe-in if I only looked at the worst polls for President Obama instead of the average.

CAN WE HAVE THIS BLOWN UP AND FRAMED?

This election is very much Hillarys to lose. As it stands, the only way she will lose is by would-be Democratic voters not showing up on voting day and thus giving Trump the edge. The email situation is nasty. However, if this gets sorted and comes inconclusive again, it will help her campaign more so, IMO.

I can't see him winning... But then we didn't see Brexit happening either.

Don't know why Clinton doesn't point out Trump is involved in a rape trial of a 13-year-old in a few weeks. Trump very obviously believes in Guilty until proven innocent (he has no personal evidence against Clinton and says it daily) so it seems only fair to conclude he is guilty of something or other until proven innocent. The time to play by the rules is dead and gone.

Well, this is the thing. Does she just go for broke and attack him as much as he does her at this stage? Or hold back and hope this all blows over? Even some juicy oppo would need to be timed perfectly to have much impact now. Comey knew exactly what he was doing timing this to hit over a weekend AND 10 days from the election. It's really difficult to know how to play it and then we don't even know how much she NEEDS to for another couple of days. Making it even harder.

Is it any wonder Trump suddenly started praising him the instant he did this? But I guess it's alright when you perceive things to be rigged in tour favour.

Trump rallying again in some polls. Mainly national ones and not swing state ones though unfortunately. As a very experienced US commentator on Sky News said earlier, Hillary hasn't won yet. A lot can happen in a week. Oh please God, let Trump win this.

I was right.

I knew this would happen last week when he started getting momentum AGAIN!

How do you stop this fart trapped in an elevator?!

He can say and do ANYTHING and people just lap it up.

And you just know in a few years people are gonna be EMBARRASSED they voted for Trump.

Bernie woulda been the stronger candidate even if he also didn't have much of a clue. When the substance of a campaign is reduced to, 'Prison, winning, Make America great again, I am the best, I am the least racist person ever, I am the healthiest ever, believe me;', then the opposing narrative has to be equally vacuous.

He's still unlikely to win according to a veteran commentator who knows more about US elections than any of us that I saw on Sky earlier but according to him he has a chance still. According to him it now all depends on how many Democratic voters stay at home as they think she's won this and more importantly, how many undecideds are influenced by this latest email news and go for Trump.

A better candidate than Trump and the Republicans would win this.

Like I was saying through the primaries!

I am a huge Hills fan but accept she is a weak candidate.

She's the most qualified person running for leader of a country in modern history. f*** off is she a weak candidate. She such a strong and qualified candidate her shits are more qualified to be president than any of the runners from the Republican party

I know. I am a huge fan.

But she IS a weak candidate due to years of partisan attacks, her flip-flops and due to years as the figurehead of the Democratic party, absorbing made-up conspiracies and attacks from the Republicans. She is also not popular and there is still a LOT of sexism in the USA.

The case is a civil suit, and bringing it up will make her look bad, because of the double standard of expected professionalism between Clinton and Trump. She can't go into the gutter like he can and expect to get away with it. Bringing it up wouldn't change any minds at this point. We've had a tape leak where he unashamedly admits that he gropes and kisses women without their consent and a dozen-plus women coming forward to corroborate that he does engage in the behavior that he admitted to in the tape, and it didn't really affect the polls. A possible majority of the American electorate has already decided that the behavior and rhetoric of a juvenile, narcissistic, divisive, totally unqualified, racist, misogynistic, and xenophobic Republican presidential candidate are nothing compared to any mistakes Hillary Clinton may have made with e-mails.

It's going to come down to turnout in the end. If Trump does win, I don't want to hear any whining from white liberals who voted third party or didn't bother to vote, but always complain that the government isn't more progressive. You can't have a more progressive government if you don't actively vote against Republicans. This is especially true for college students/millennials, you either vote or "shut the hell up!".

Even if THIS Donald Trump is stopped this time, the real work will be on stopping any future ones through more investment in education, more stringent educational retirements and also developing critical reasoning skills. That will be the harder task.

Agreed and she has all this email stuff still hanging over her. Could win and be impeached even. Sanders, Warren or Biden would easily have beaten Trump.
