Trump has said he will "keep us in suspense" about whether he will accept the election result if he loses.

 

Doesn't Trump just love keeping people in suspense? Like the time he refused to say he wouldn't nuke Europe or the Middle East?

Whoever wins this election, I'm genuinely scared as to what happens next. About half the country are going to be more angry than ever before that the result didn't go their way, and I don't think they're going to be shy in acting on their frustrations. I just hope that whoever the new Commander-In-Chief is makes trying to reunify the broken country their first and top priority on their elevation.

I don't really see how the 30% of active Trump fans can be mollified by any symbolic gesture from Hillary, short of the downright contemptible. If they're angry, chances are it's not because of a lack of mouthed platitudes about governing for all America. If they're passionate Trump fans, chances are they're just racist. Simple as. Help them out economically by all means, but let's not be surprised when it doesn't change a great deal.

They'll most likely just go back to whining and being big racists and sexists on Reddit and Twitter. Having a liberal black man who they viewed as a secret Kenyan America-hating Muslim who they wouldn't accept as legitimate for eight was toughest for them. I think they know that they know deep-down that they're never going to constitute a majority opinion in a country that's becoming increasingly non-white. They'll eventually return to their lily-white social bubbles and echo chamber/safe spaces after plenty of denial and angry shouting.

As a joke, at the Al Smith dinner. I know the concept of context can be too much for the average Trump supporter to grasp, but it is quite important.

Trump was booed at the dinner when he said that Hillary hates Catholics. It as a dinner given by the Catholics!!

I mean I love the X-Files and all that, would love them to exist,but the universe is just so mind-boggingly huge even with instantaneous space travel it would take a team of explorers from our own galaxy ...
