It's a strange feeling to simultaneously feel both ashamed to be white and immensely lucky to be white. So much worry for racial minorities in America and honestly, everywhere right now.

Christ, race relations just get worse don't they? How do we come back from this election completely hinging on whites vs. everyone else? The divide is so stark.

I know this isn't what anyone wants to hear, nor believe, especially when feelings are so raw, and especially involving this individual, but everything is going to be alright.

This politician malarkey seems like easy work. You don't need to have any policies about inspiring change, just find the biggest demographic in your country and pander to them. I'm great at pandering to people. <_<

One small, personal, silver lining to all this is that thanks to Hillary my 17 year old sister who hates politics has been invested and involved in a political cause/event for the first time. She just came to me crying that she's lost, which makes me so proud. Even if hate one out in the end, not everyone/everything is shitty.
