Did 'Le Bump' actually get released? I keep seeing it in the "coming soon" section of the release schedule.

Wiki says it was back in 2011?!

My God, what a bad bunch! That "Le Bump" is worse than "Americano"! I think "Americano" will be more famous for the dance in The Inbetweeners Movie

"Vanilla Twilight" is waaay better than "Fireflies" though that accent/voice REALLY grates. He'll be doing the same fate with whatever follow-up to "Good Times"...Carly Rae will be joining him in obscurity soon.

Carly Rae would have joined this list with "This Kiss" if "Good Time" never existed! :D

I can't believe how badly that's set to do. :o I mean, fair enough it's a bad choice when she has something like 'Hurt So Good' but still, it's shocking.

I'm not sure if it's already in here but anything by christina aguilera in the Bionic or Lotus era. ESPECIALLY the top 30 SMASH hit Your Body. :cheer:

GIRLS- NIZLOPI

PEAK POSITION: DNC

SALES: 1K

FOLLOW UP TO: JCB SONG

Now who wasn’t rooting for Nizlopi for Xmas No 1 back in 2005? I mean other than the 752k who bought Shayne Ward, well “JCB Song” was one of those surprise No 1’s that few saw coming and was helped by the festive feeling of goodwill to all struggling popstars, but post Xmas it was back to the hard to conquer normal charts and the band struggled. Another nice attempt and a sweet song but just not good enough to cut it.

FIGHTING BUTTERFLIES- STEVE BROOKSTEIN

PEAK POSITION: 193

SALES: 1K

FOLLOW UP TO: AGAINST ALL ODDS

He’s a joke now, the man who no-one wants to emulate Brookstein was too old to put up with Cowell’s controlling influence and frankly didn’t want to do what he was told so had to be silenced. He was dropped, more or less by mutual consent after he refused to do an album of covers and this was his “comeback” in 2006 by which time we appeared to not care less.

Incorrect. Some people might have bought both singles (one from Shayne Ward and one from Nizlopi). :P

Are there any more songs left or is that it? :o

AMERICAN WOMAN- LENNY KRAVITZ

PEAK POSITION: DNC

FOLLOW UP TO: FLY AWAY

An advert for the Peugeot 206 is to thank for Kravitz finally making No 1 in 1999, but here Kravitz’s blend of rock proved to be in hostile territory for the poptastic charts of that year. It’s a cover of an original by The Guess Who from 1970, and even getting the song included in the soundtrack for “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me” couldn’t pull this back from disaster.

Incorrect. Some people might have bought both singles (one from Shayne Ward and one from Nizlopi). :P

And some people, like myself, might not have been able to stand such a rubbish song! :D

How many people would have bought both and wanted Nizlopi (of the two) to be No 1? :P

There are just 6 tracks left- finishing Friday....

And some people, like myself, might not have been able to stand such a rubbish song! :D

Which song are you talking about? I don't mind That's My Goal but JCB Song is beautiful.

'Fighting Butterflies' charted at #193 for the record.

Ah thanks very much!

6 songs left? You said there were 11 songs left the other day and we have had 6 since then (the figure of 95 at the start of the thread is also consistent with there only being 5 songs left). Looking forward to them anyway!

And I believe Girls charted at about #91.
