I'm fairly confident I'll get through at least, whether $ucce$$ beckons in the final or not is a very different prospect though.
Just had a proper glance through the song list now, I know LOADS of them. If even half of them make it to the final (and I suspect most of them will) it'll be a great final.
I haven't started listening yet but I'm only a little confident, it LOOKS like a tough semi at first glance and given my track took a few months to grow on me... yeah, that's not working in my favour.
I'd LIKE to get through to the final but past form suggests I should be heading for a DNQ. Add to that the fact that the first songs I've listened to in Semi 1 are bloody brilliant!
Brayden, what happened to your brilliant original entry and why have you replaced it with a recent UP winner?! It is a better track than Oscilliate, thank god, I just hope the voting reflects that. <3

I still intend to send that song in January, I just didn't want to flop this contest! (Plus it's an incred song, I'm not that desperate for success that I'd just send something I don't even like for points *coughLEEWALLACEcough*)

What do the three download links contain that you sent us in your PMs, Dandy*? I'm trying to download the first one, but it seems to be installing something called iLivid? What is that? Do I need it to download those links? Can I not just download them without that?

Edit: I think I have it sorted now. I clicked on the wrong download button.

Die. I like GG, otherwise I wouldn't have sent it.

Die.

Tbh, I actually found myself giving my points to surprising entries this month, the indie entries were quite FANTASTIC! Worried now!

Oh so it was BRE who took S O H N, now that's a bit surprising. Skall seemed the most obvious choice for Chad Valley though (I tried to enter both).

Oh and Eyes - I'm glad someone has entered SS, I was considering that track myself a few months back (same with Frost). Naturally hoping both flop.

Oh, so Eyes took my entry, so I took someone else's entry as my backup entry? Cool. At least I didn't lose out on both!

I'm quite GLAD you took it, I wouldn't have found Vestige otherwise and I prefer it (even if it doesn't do as well, or does, whatever).

Then we're all happy (except me. if Iz does well with a below-par Saint Saviour track then I won't be best pleased unless I come top 10/15 or something.)

I will not hear this blasphemy. It's ABOVE PAR for Saint Saviour.

Aside: is it me, or is Launica always at the very end of a semi recently? That's like a reverse-Montenegro [/eurovisionanecdote]

You're right, they've been at the end of the last few in semi 1... they weren't actually the last to be drawn in semi 2 this time but I moved them there due to their pesky ç (it would have messed up the spacings between the country gifs)
:o FIX
Yeah, I didn't mean to tread on toes by sending her, it just was the entry I felt I had to send (as in I was playing it over and over in the weeks leading up to the contest, that's always a sign of the entry I want) and when Bré told me you were considering her (it was a track featuring her, wasn't it?) I felt sorry for you. :(

But I could use the points, so try not to hate me for preventing you from sending your first choice and listen with an open mind... :D

She's featured yeah, she sings a grand total of three lines :P It was this song:

-x-

I thought my video would stand out in my semi, but now I've seen Bignia Zaragovnia's :( I've listened to my semi and it was brilliatn, potentially the best I've been in since Eledan's. So diverse and actually very inspired for the most part, I'll vote later.

Ooh I hardly ever end up in semi-1. Best get to listening!

I'm sorry but that version of Nothing Compares 2 U is abysmal.

It is the single shite-est entry in BJSC I have heard since Isconia started taking part.

And I understand why Rich entered Delta as it's the 50th contest but surely that's gotta be Rontvia's cheapest entry ever.

Yep, not my most inspired choice I'm afraid but I wanted to mark the anniversary with something really special and commemorative and figured that it would still be a discovery for the vast majority of participants here. Album tracks by somebody that hasn't had a UK hit for nearly 8 years aren't usually recipes for success in BJSC and indeed Delta has never yet finished top ten when she's been sent yet.

Anyway, with 95%+ of my entries coming from undiscovered acts being sent to the contest for the first time, I felt no need to prove how inspired I can be!

Well, I think THAT might be about to change. I do think it's the best choice from the album (if you were intent on sending Delta, which makes sense given it's the 50th).
I don't think Δ Goodrem is cheap. She isn't exactly setting the charts alight anywhere plus it's an album track of the album that hardly anyone will/does care about
