No way are little mix getting beaten to number 1 this week.

I think they will unfortunately. :(

They performed it on X Factor tonight. I don't think so as all the One Direction fans will buy the album on Monday, as shown with them only going to #3 with LWWY and its rapid fall, they don't have many people purchasing their songs other than their fans, so I can only see a low top 10 entry for them this week.

Oh silly me, I was even told they performed it tonight  All the same it hit #3 in Ireland prior to the performance (it's now #2 actually). Your logic does make perfect sense but judging by Ireland the album release won't hamper them. They probably will be really frontloaded, though.

11. Locked Out Of Heaven - Bruno Mars
WHAT is this Stooshe hate?!

Going from a really innovative debut to a successful follow up and then ruining it with such an insipid unneccessary cover

I'm not sure I even dare dream of A*M*E going top forty, but it'd be wonderful to see nonetheless. Fingers crossed for 'DNA' but I imagine Bruno will easily triumph (haven't heard his song, so I can't really judge).

5. Locked Out Of Heaven - Bruno Mars

46. Love Is Easy - McFly

102. DNA - Little Mix

337. Close Enemies - Example

813. Waterfalls - StooShe

I guess it seems weird for a girl band to cover another girls band's song, but I think it's a brilliant cover. Their vocals are fabulous on it.

I thought that Waterfalls was to be released as a double A-side with something, has that idea been scrapped?

Well with 1D seemingly not having a single I think Little Mix can rest easy. #2 it is.

Yeah I get why you think that, but the song was out in Ireland when the X Factor performance happened, whereas it is not released until tomorrow midnight here, meaning the X Factor performance boost won't be as big AND it will lose a day worth of sales. That combined with the fact that I don't think that many non-fans will buy it and the album being out, I am still sticking by it only scrapping the top 10.

Yes, you are actually probably right. I didn't think about them not releasing a single and the X Factor boost probably won't help at all. I'm still going to be a bit more optimistic than you (I'll say #7 or so) but #2 is definitely not happening.

What Bruno Mars #5 already?

Nope, he seems to have made that up completely :D

Let me see if I understand: Bruno was in the singles pre-order and Little Mix weren't?

No I haven't. He is at number 5, but the feed keeps reverting. ;)

Totally agree.
