McFly  #3

They have now reached their highest position on Itunes Ever.

Why are McFly doing so well? I haven't heard the song at all...

 99. Give Me Love - Ed Sheeran

Back in the top 100 in time for the XF performance woo. Really hope this can outpeak 'Small Bump'.

Wow, shocked McFly fan here.

I'm so old school that this is the first single I'm not going to get by them because I don't download songs! :P I usually buy every one of their CD singles! Just waiting for the album instead.

I actually thought this song was going to flop so badly even though its nice.

It's amazing for McFly to be so high when you take things into consideration. They'll struggle to hold up though, unless radio gets onto this song.

I thought Shine A Light got to 3 on Itunes too?

Come on Stooshe! I'm still a bit surprised they went with this as their third single, but it's a great cover of a great song. Nice to see Mcfly doing so well, although I have to say I'm very susprised to see it doing this well. Little Mix should have been a bit higher by now.

Weird to see Example flopping so far. I do like it, although it's definitely not one of his best songs.

They have been on EVERYTHING recently, although I've not heard them actually perform the single anywhere! :P

Indemand have it as 'Track of the week' Radio2 has played it a few times and Radio1 the odd time. Its been number1 on The Box & 4music this week though. As promo stands they have The One show on Wednesday

Can't really see that benefiting the single much.

They have performed it once on Surprise,Surprise a few weeks ago

The promo for McFly 's track has been rubbish, like someone said they've been on a lot of shows but the song has only been performed once. They've kept their faces on the telly through the Xtra Factor, Celebrity Juice, Mr & Mrs, Surprise, Surprise - basically the usual ITV rubbish, but thats all. Haven't managed to catch the music video on TV either yet, personally.

I really wasn't expecting much from it. Much of the focus has been on the book and the greatest hits album with them as well, and that is what they promoted on Alan Carr's show.

I'm also really surprised that Waterfalls isn't setting the charts alight. I thought it would do a bit better than #31 at this stage. I'm really disappointed about how most of the new entries have underperformed this week.

And The Only Way is Essex! Well, 1/4 of the group...

Haha oh yeah.

Harry was also on the red button for Strictly a few weeks ago. The more I think about it the more they've been on actually. :P Scott Mills' show on Radio 1 and Graham Norton's show on Radio 2 as well, although again the focus seemed to be elsewhere on the latter - there was a special play of 'Cherry Cola' from the Greatest Hits album.

Aren't Mcfly on Daybreak/Lorraine /This Morning during the week? I would expect them to do atleast one of those shows. Or maybe they will wait for next week to promote the Greatest Hits.
Harry and Danny were on Unzipped as well a week or two ago

My goodness I forgot about that as well. But again I don't think the single was mentioned! The book was though.

McFly doing far better than I expected, I wasn't quite sure if they had the power to go top 10 anymore and it's not had a lot of exposure.

Stooshe really are the new 411 as I predicted all along, and Example set to bomb really hard. That's what he gets for releasing a succession of disappointing singles since 'Changed The Way You Kiss Me' ('Natural Disaster' aside).
