Urgh, 'Little Things' by One Direction is already up to #2 on Ireland's iTunes chart whilst Little Mix are still stuck at #10. Looks like 'Little Things' is going to sell a large amount of downloads once it's added to iTunes tomorrow. Would be gobsmacked if it ended up peaking at #2 behind Bruno Mars and outsell Little Mix when 'DNA' has had an extra day of sales. :manson:

Good on Bruno smashing it, excellent song and probably my favourite of his now over "Grenade" I don't think Bray and I will be agreeing over much this week :lol: although I echo the notion that "Nothin' On You" and "It Will Rain" are better than the majority of his output.

Still want Little Mix to get to number 1, I know that's not likely though. Get that number 2 smash Little Muffins! :wub:

Didnt think McFly would come close to touching the top 10 with this rather unexpected release! Seeing it at 4 is pretty cool! It's a nice song! Also re Little Mix vs. 1D, 1D had their performance last night, Little Mix still have theirs to come. I'm confident LM will beat 1D... but i'm not liking the hate towards 1Ds new song. It's my favourite that they've released..

Blimey, McFly at 4 and ahead of Little Mix? :o I'm actually really surprised by that, I didn't even know it was getting any airplay. I'm aware Shine A Light was their most successful single, but never thought they'd sustain their success two years later

 

I didn't think much of Bruno's song at first, but its growing on me a lot, I like the 80s feel it has and it sounds very different to other songs in the chart. I just hope it doesn't get massively overplayed like all his other songs did. I actually thought he may have suffered the second album slump, isn't it just lovely to see him doing well again? :)

Shocked that Mcfly are this far ahead as it's had limited airplay! No doubt they will be front loaded though. I don't think Little Mix have a chance of being number one this week as they are quite far behind Bruno Mars.

'Grenade' is the only Bruno song that 'Locked Out Of Heaven' is better than!

I've put 'Runaway Baby' in brackets as it wasn't actually a proper single (AFAIA), but it might as well have been. 'Nothin' On You' is better than all of these bar IWR which shits over everything else he's done from a great height. 'Lighters', 'Mirror' and 'Billionaire' would all be just ahead of TLS in that order (so basically Bruno is better as a featured artist than a lead, apart from 'It Will Rain' and to a lesser extent 'Runaway Baby' :P)

Jack in agreeing with Bré shocker! 'It Will Rain' is the only decent thing he's put his name to.

Does anyone know where Little Mix or Stooshe is at combined?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that one :P that was a Comic Relief release though and Shine a Light was the first song in YEARS that actually had a long chart run

Agreed very much that It Will Rain is beautiful and should've done far better, the next two are very good songs but got massively overplayed, Marry You was merely quite good and the Lazy Song was good for a while, but got old really fast.

How? They don't have a CD or digital EP out. Only the 1-track download. I totally see them falling on itunes later this week, though. I hope they can remain top 10.
