No no, definitely not, I think it's an absolutely beautiful song, Nicola really gets to shine and Kimba sounds amazing too.

Definitely not. It's my favourite ballad from them since 'Whole Lotta History'. It's beautiful and I can't believe it's doing quite as horrific as it is doing... :\

Surely it's Nicola? She just sounds so real and soulful on this :wub: She better get a second solo album and it better sell by the buttload.

Its probably sold about 10,000 already, unfortunately that is 10,000 less they will sel if they officially release it.

Vidcapper reckoned it had sold 8,500 up to last week, so with this week's sales it'll be approaching 12,000. ( :lol: oh dear).

 

Might be touch and go whether this spends a sixth week in the Top 200. Currently #196 on iTunes.

On 'Whole Lotta History' it's definitely Nadine for me though, I love the part just before the first chorus.

OH no... Sarah's verse in this song, and her outro on "Whole Lotta History" is such a key Girls Aloud moment!

Yeah, she's really not the star of Beautiful Cause You Love Me or Whole Lotta History. However when it comes to The Promise, the other girls might as well not even bother singing! I think she has some key bits in The Loving Kind (definitely on the live versions) and I'll Stand By You.

Sarah's part in WLH is amazing but Nicola's bit is the best IMO, and Nicola STEALS BCYLM.

I am serious. It's in the little things. Nicola's a great singer, but I don't care anymore about this poor, pitiful me act she has going on. Her verse on 'Whole Lotta History' was fantastic but on this song she does nothing to me. I just love how Sarah sings/whispers her lines. I know it doesn't sound as a standout part from the song at all but it does something to me and I can't explain it any other way.
