OH MY. What a lyric video.

 

This has grown a lot after a couple of listens, I'd rather she not have to go down this direction but there's no denying how catchy this is.

This is AMAZING. Both song and lyric video! It's so catchy. Not sure how long the novelty will last, but should be for a while. I hope it can be a hit!

I have had this in my head. ALL DAY LONG. Like I said in the other thread. Big #1. Regardless of whether she's sold out or whatever, this is so catchy and has Eminem on it. And it is dirty as f***. Big hit.

This is pretty great, really catchy! She deserved to be huge with Invisible, but I think it could happen now. This really sounds like a big hit.

I am torn between hating this because it's Skylar and I want more than that from her and denying the catchiness of it - basically, if it was done by some nobody I'd be all over it. It's not GREAT but it's not as bad as I thought when I first heard it.

I agree with this bit. It's growing really fast and it's proper catchy, but it's no Invisible and it'll be quite annoying if she is known as a slutty innuendo artist rather than an amazingly talented songwriter with a beautiful voice.

 

It's a bit like Sia really, she had absolutely brilliant songs like Clap Your Hands, Breathe Me and The Girl You Lost To Cocaine, but just because Titanium was brilliant and did well she's known as nothing more than a feature, and She Wolf and Wild Ones weren't even THAT good anyway. I'm happy for this to do well as long as Skylar lasts and she gets to release stuff like Invisible that does well too, but I'm kind of torn too.

I can't deny, I do quite like it. I liked 'Invisible' too!

 

I must admit that I did think we'd never hear from her again, but I do think a song of this calibre combined with the involvement of a name like Eminem could just be her ticket.

Isn't this track all on purpose and done sort of a way to mock current pop culture? That's why she doesn't sound as serious on this and is sort of mocking it... thats the impression i get anyway and this song shouldn't be taken seriously. Especially by Skylar's fans. It's very much being used in the same way 'Do It Like A Dude' was used to boost Jessie's career.

Great that it's been released at the same time as the US release. #53 on iTunes so far.

 

Not sure on the video..she looks great in the pink wig though.

Not a bad video (Skylar again looks very hot) but not one you could say could really become iconic given the audacity of the track. It's a bit of a mess, really.

I can realistically see this becoming one of the big hits of next year already! Mind you, I have said that several times before and it's turned out not to be the case, so you never know. :lol:
