Yeah that's what I thought, it's a nice enough song and it's got good reception so far but like Tirren said because it's 'nice' it will hardly be sweeping up the 12s.

It's a real grower though, I'm actually finding myself really liking it :o

I do quite like the song, it's catchy and could do fairly well if it was in the hands of someone who could actually SING. Her voice is truly the stuff of nightmares, she must gargle gravel, battery acid and nails every night and smoke 50 a day to get such a hideous sounding voice.

I really do think the BBC should try and hook someone who has been on X Factor the year prior, with little hope of actually doing much, but enough public presence to actually mean something. With a good song they could do quite well I imagine. Though no doubt if they did that it would just be the Rylan ''joke'' type act that makes it.

I was just thinking earlier how this country-tinged ballad would've been perfect for someone like Carolynne Poole from last year's X Factor! She's fantastic live and it is in her style of music too!

The only thing I fear is Bonnie's brilliant excuse of performing nowadays. She seems to have a constant urge to go "Mistletoe & Wine" on us. If she manages to keep that in check nothing should stop her from neglecting the bottom 10.
As if the song is instant and memorable enough to land it anywhere other than bottom 10 WOT.
Well it's the best we're going to get, might as well get behind it and be blind for a while.
If Bonnie went on a tour around Europe to radio/TV programmes maybe she could drum up interest in the song. Help keep the positive reaction running and let them remember the entry. Otherwise, the song isn't instant enough if they hear it first time on the night. It's much more of a grower and needs exposure first if the UK wants a chance of not finishing last!
Anyone got a link to the track.

Here's the music video for 'Believe In Me':

BBC Eurovision have revealed on Facebook that Bonnie will be joined onstage in Malmö by a five-piece band, four of whom will sing backing vocals. :D

How exciting.

Just listening to Bonnie's Rocks And Honey album, there's a cover of Carrie Underwood's ANTHEM Flat On The Floor on it :o Shame covers aren't allowed in Eurovision, would have been amazing!

wut.

Not sure I want to hear this

You don't.

(I mean I HAVEN'T, but I can only imagine what the voice of 100 vats of hydrochloric acid a day has done to it)

I gave it a quick listen out of curiousity.... DEAR GOD. Now I think she actually has a good voice but christ, Carrie must weeping over such a painful death for one of her greatest songs!

I didn't even think about Miracle for Eurovision because of the length. That would have been amazing. :(

Let's face it, all the best possible contenders will always be rejected as long as the BBC can't afford to host Eurovision.

The sad thing is if the BBC did have a "Your Nation Needs You" style show and the public voted for their fave act to represent the UK, the public would probably vote for Bonnie Tyler over Hurts anyways. We're doomed from the off. :(
