Leona's 'Lovebird' video premiers tomorrow. It's leaked and I've seen it, she looks beaaautiful. I think it'll be supported by TV, so the video may help it finally start climbing iTunes in the upcoming weeks. Keep an eye out. :P

So that's the second single? I thought it would be "Fireflies" or "Glassheart".

Dunno if its been mentioned already, but the following Christmas songs are now 59p, expect them to climb quite fast over the next few days:

39. Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day

51. Slade - Merry Xmas Everybody

54. Band Aid - Do They Know Its Christmas

79. Brenda Lee - Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree

102. Elton John - Step Into Christmas

115. Dean Martin - Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

134. Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime

157. Kylie Minogue - Santa Baby

No Pogues, Mariah or Wham looking at the list (although it seems to have been removed from the front page) the latter could be on course to lose its bronze medal to Wizzard or Slade this year.

 35. Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day :o

I'd love to see Wizzard getting the bronze medal this year.

However Wham! have 2 versions in the top 150: #47 & #133.

So, the bronze medal battle will be very close! ^_^

Glassheart is going to be the third single. :dancing: Fireflies may be the 4th as they said it wasnt cancelled just postponed so may close the album late next year.

The fact that this album will live up to 4 singles is something to commend both Syco and Leona for. They basically just gave up on Echo after "I Got You".

Is Florence + The Machine – Lover To Lover flopping or just not released yet?

Flopping - its currently at 425

OMG! I thought it would be top 40 easily. :o

Indeed, it is released on this coming Sunday - still up against the XF winner!

Record companies just have *no* clue about release dates, do they! :(

They hold some songs back unnecessarily, yet release others that *could* wait against the strongest competition...

Why has the boring 1D song suddenly climbed to #5?

You'll need to be a bit more specific...

Really? I wouldn't let the success of Spectrum fool you - the other post album releases didn't reach the Top 40, although they all reached the Top 100, so I thought Lover to Lover could have reached Top 200, even with no promotion/airplay.

Unless of course Calvin Harris has remixed it. :D

The Killers - I Can Feel It In My Bones  to #41.

Hope they can get Top 40 with this. I don't know why The Killers Christmas singles don't do very well. They still have a solid fan base here in the UK, you'd think they'd get Top 40 with their festive offerings, but there you go. People would rather download old Christmas songs because there are too many people too scared to try something new.

I think its to do with the way they release the songs and then the lack of radio support thereafter. Boots made the top 60 in 2010, Dont Shoot me Santa made no32 in 2009. They usual release midweek like this one!

Stupid decision ever anyway... against the biggest first week single of the year? whatever.

The videos out already why not release it - chart position isnt everything. Itll probably peak in january anyway!

Why has the boring 1D song suddenly climbed to #5?

There is no boring 1D song, not at #5 or in existence. :kink:

The AMAZING Little Things was performed on the Royal Variety.

Not sure exactly but 3/12 was the official impact date for the single - im sure a band like 1D would release a cd - they would sell quite a few!

Yeah, they normally do but I've searched and as I thought, there isn't one. Quite annoying as I've bought all their CD singles to date.

Florence and the Machine should have released Breaking Down (if only because the opening sounds quite Christmassy :P)

I Knew You Were Trouble  #10

Don't Stop The Party  #12

Slade top 40 and another version in the top 300, hopefully they can scrape into the official top 40 this week and stay there for another 2 weeks then :D Both versions of 'Christmas Lights' closing in on 'Mistletoe' and the song is a year older. Not bad. Really hope it can get a week or two in the top 100 but it'll still have to climb a bit more to do that.

I wonder how much a song like Santa Baby has sold in total. It's never peaked in the top 75 (as far as I know), and sells maybe 4-5k a year? Which would put it on about 25k (given that it has been charting for a few years now). It would be interesting to find out the song that has sold the most copies, but never charted in the top 75.
