January 1, 201510 yr I'm hoping tonight will be an improvement on last week. Also I'd prefer Miranda to realise she doesn't need a man to be happy. Such an improvement I was satisfied with all apart from the ending! The absolute perfect ending  Really couldn't have ended any other way. Clive returning, HEATHER SMALL !!!! and, my personal favourite bit, the parade of galloping *.* Made me a tad emotional at the end, so sad that it's over  Heather Small is now trending, brilliant
January 1, 201510 yr Cliched ending, but they wouldn't have been able to do it any other way! I was worried they were running out of time, but I'm glad that it ended that way because I was scared they'd just leave it hanging like the Christmas episode did! Maybe she should have realised she didn't need a man but I feel like everyone getting what they wanted was the perfect ending.
January 1, 201510 yr Perfect ending to a fantastic TV series, that final galloping scene with all of the cast got me quite emotional! It was all quite fast-paced, so to have that slow-motion scene at the end there allowed myself to sort of catch up and fully appreciate everything.
January 1, 201510 yr That episode was so perfect! :cheer: Heather Small making a cameo though! :cheer:
January 1, 201510 yr MUCH better than the Christmas episode, a fitting ending. Gary Barlow turning up pissed me off though. It should have been solely Heather's moment.
January 1, 201510 yr Yeah it was predictable, but I don't think they could've ended it any other way really, it would've been like Rachel & Ross not getting together at the end of Friends! Great episode in general though, loved all of the guest characters from past series returning (particularly Clive, the psychologist and the guy that kept coming into the shop ) & ofc. Heather Small ha! I'm gonna miss this so much, been catching up on the past series lately and it was so funny at it's best :(
January 2, 201510 yr Yeah it was predictable, but I don't think they could've ended it any other way really, it would've been like Rachel & Ross not getting together at the end of Friends! Great episode in general though, loved all of the guest characters from past series returning (particularly Clive, the psychologist and the guy that kept coming into the shop ) & ofc. Heather Small ha! I'm gonna miss this so much, been catching up on the past series lately and it was so funny at it's best :( I'm just gonna reciprocate with all of this TBH. Couldn't have put it better myself. I still think she's a fool for ending it when she did - it still had/has so much mileage in it. My particular highlights: Dreamboat Charlie comparing Miranda and Gary as 'Like Guacamole and Doritos!' And the random customer coming back! And 'Twist my stick' and when she slammed the lid on the piano player's fingers in the bar because he played 'Nellie the Elephant' when she came into the bar!
January 2, 201510 yr I don't think it did have much mileage left though. I personally thought series 3 was lacking ever so slightly and although last night's episode was amazing, last week's was verging on embarrassing. Go out on a high, just like she has.
January 2, 201510 yr I agree with the Heather Small and Gary Barlow comment, I don't think Barlow was really necessary, whereas the Heather gag from Stevie was used throughout the series. A really good ending though and I am glad all the characters got what they wanted in the end
January 6, 201510 yr I guess I'm the only one who hated both specials! It was too fast-paced, ridiculous and not that funny. The Xmas episode was far better than the NY's day one though, to be fair. The latter I laughed only maybe three times throughout...? Apart from a couple of song lyrics jokes there was really nothing to laugh about and this is not a CW dramedy, I want to actually laugh at the happenings.
March 23, 20178 yr Just completed rewatching all the episodes  This has to be the best comedy I've ever seen though, never gets old
March 23, 20178 yr Would watch anyday over Mrs Brown's Boys. Very much missed this. A modern sitcom classic
