When has she ever bragged about N-Dubz so much? And are you seriously bringing up their Greatest Hits album? The album that had zero promo and had no new single leading up to it.

Well she is talking about UK success on a UK TV show so her comments are relevant - The 'Greatest Hits' was a last minute hashed together compilation by the record company, The band didn't even get together for a photo shoot for the album and done no promotion or even wrote any album thank yous let alone record any new tracks so the fact it 'limped' into the Top 40 in December with 10k of sales is actually rather good!

She had every right to brag about N-Dubz lol. They've had lots of top 40 hits, and in their solo careers they're just continuing to get more and more (another one to add to the list this week). I'd say they're bigger now than ever (or at least as big as they were in 2009). They're the biggest group on their record label (along with Cascada), so I'm sure their label are very proud of them.

 

They're not very marketable outside of the UK tbh. They did get a US record deal at one point, but nothing happened with it in the end (although they did get to work with US producers for an album). I don't think other countries would be very receptive to them tbh.

Sadly hardly anything at all :cry: Its #8 on the HMV chart and is priced at £7 and is still part of the '2 For £10' offer - The label could have put a bit more effort into it though - Even a new slipcase sleeve would have been better than nothing :cry:

Thanks. I guess the label just wanna cash in without putting in much effort. They probably assume the musical premier on the 11th and the documentary on the 24th will do all the work for them. Will see I guess.

Woo! When I bought it at HMV yesterday, I got the last copy (that was out on the shelves). I hope she can go top 10. :(

Maybe Tulisa should have asked Gary Barlow on how best to promote the 'Greatest Hits' album then after he done wonders with his 2nd solo album - At the end of the day the release was not endorsed or promoted by the band [They could not even be bothered to het together for a photo shoot for the album sleeve] and it was released shortly after their 3 studio albums racked up sales of 900,000 between them so their fanbase had everything that was already on the album and not even any new remixes, unreleased tracks etc, had been added to encourage sales so as I said before the fact it managed to go Top 40 in December is an achievement.

Ok Alexandra's Second Album went to pieces ... accepted due to radio not playing her songs .. and lack of promo ..

But this is Tulisa's Debut Album .. it would only be fair to compare it with Alex's first loool and sorry Alex Slayed ....

Tulisa has had so much bloody exposure on x factor ... then BGT aswell

Lol how can you compare Gary to Tulisa? And what has his second album got to do with her group's GH? With 14 numbers ones, 8 number one albums, and 50 million records sold worldwide, what has tulisa sold again? She doesn't deserve to sit in the same room. Without XF she is nothing. Then again, even XF can't save the 'female boss' :lol:

"Let it Go" is a brilliant song. I still don't understand the lack of airplay for it. It's a typical generic, catchy song. Why wouldn't radios want to play it? :lol:

Nothing can disguise the fact that Sight Of You is a terrible song, and she looked thoroughly bored performing it. In fact, she had the same face on she has had since Ella was voted off!

It's probably the worst song on the album. I still don't know what her label was thinking releasing it, when there are much better ballads that could have been released instead. :mellow:
