Silent Night It seems to have slipped completely under the radar, but Cascada have just released a (download only) Christmas album, and the real shock is that I absolutely love it! After years of each album release being marginally poorer than the last, this is my favourite thing that they've put out in a good few years. Only three of the songs are in their usual Eurodance style, the rest are in more of a traditional or ballad, even jazz style. A little similar to the recent Steps Christmas album conceptually. And like Steps, they included one original song, Somewhere At Christmas Time, which is actually really good! My early highlights are Last Christmas (although it's the old 2007 version), Jingle Bell Rock, Winter Wonderland (BIZARRE production, sounds like the music out of Theme Hospital!) and the Somewhere At Christmas Time but I actually keep listening to the whole thing over and over again!
December 7, 201212 yr I'm going to avoid this at all costs, but I still like their cover of 'Last Christmas'. Looking out for new music in 2013.
December 8, 201212 yr :o Had no idea this was out and it's only £4.99 on iTunes - Such a shame that it has not even got a teeny bit of promotion over here!
December 12, 201212 yr Their cover of Last Christmas is actually quite good :D This. Maybe because it sounds exactly the same as all of their pre-Evacuate The Dancefloor singles. :D
