Yeah, I can remember Kirsty turning up, saying "I'm his wife" and my jaw actually dropped! :lol: As for the rest, very underwhelming.

Made the storyline seem like it was going to be a lot more exciting than it ended up being.

 

 

And the New Year one was most "thrilling" of them all...so "thrilling" that they've decided to delete all trace of it on Youtube! :D What's even more funny is that Sharon is with neither Phil nor Jack now and has pretty much disappeared into irrelevance! All I can say is the Christmas 2013/NY 2014 trailer is FAAAAR more exciting!

I agree - I was expecting some sort of fire after the clip of the burning paper (was done the previous Christmas but it would have made the episodes better than they were).

Also, another casting announcement coming tonight at midnight! :o Apparently it's two new characters being introduced (though I guess they could be returning, you never know)...
Just watched that 2012 Christmas Day trailer... I do remember the scenes where Tanya and Max were just sitting in the room talking / crying now. IDK, they were very beautiful (in a sense that it was just raw acting and it was v nice), but SO boring. And then after that point the show turned into The Brannings.

Annette Badland

are the new castings.

 

 

Timothy will be playing Stan (the father of Mick, Shirley and Tina) and Annette will be playing Aunt Babe.

 

 

Really surprised at the second casting. Wonder where this leaves her role on 'Wizards vs Aliens' now?! :o Hopefully she goes back to that / this is just a short contract. Of course she will be amazing in this, though! :wub:

OK, I think I'm gonna try and commit to this full time from Christmas onwards because those plans sound amazing (apart from the Ian Beale story... AS IF we need to see more of HIM :manson:). More shirtlessness from Peter over the next 2 years please :kink:
