Thanks for proving how old Britney looks these days

Well, DUH. She gets older every year... She looks amazing for her age and she's looked the best she's looked for a while, through her time on The X Factor! But that's a difgerent discussion altogether.

Anybody have any idea where The Killers are with 'Here With Me', please?

So S&S are number 1 for sure next week, hua? I'm glad...
Scream & Shout still might not get #1 because Impossible has physicals. I remember What's My Name? was #1 on iTunes for an entire week but Matt Cardle got a 3rd week because of his physicals.

Have to admit Jessie J ft Daley - "Remember Me" is a great song! Where is this now on I-tunes?

"Scream and Shout" is a contender for the first #1 of 2013, can see it played at New Year parties.

Though obviously not a patch on the original...

As for "Scream & Shout" I think its use on the TV advert and being plugged on Youtube has deffo helped and swung the chart battle in its direction for Jan 2013.

Is it out already - the release date isnt until 28/1/13? It could climb to no1 in the new year. I thought him being the sound of 2013 they would have held back until the week of release to ensure huge sales?? Radio 1 djs have had it as their record of the week for the past 2 weeks and he will probably come top of their sound of poll in 2 weeks time!

I can definitely see this happening. Stay might climb up the iTunes chart after Christmas as well. I see Stay as the What's My Name of 2012/2013 rather than Scream And Shout.

Why do you need to "admit" it? Do you not like Jessie J or something?

I agree though, it's the catchiest song ever. It's #36, so hopefully it keeps climbing. I was worried at first it would spend just 1 week in the top 40.

I bet Scream & Shout would be great at parties. It's such a funny song. will.i.am has loads of good songs for that sort of thing, but I think the best will always be Boom Boom Pow or Fergalicious.

:cheer: Early release!!

Scream and Shout is catching the top 2 fast or should i say the downloads of the top 2 are collapsing fast lol!!

But physical sales are very very frontloaded, plus, unlike S&S, Impossible will not be a popular choice for Xmas iTunes vouchers..

Matt Cardle was #1 on the iTunes voucher weeks wasn't he? Even though What's My Name? was #1 on iTunes most of the time, and selling 90,000+ every week.

I see the top 2 this week (JA and TJC) being the top 2 next week too, just possibly the other way round to this week when TJC will get #1.

Both are going top pass 200k this week and even with 50% declines I don't see anyone else selling over 100k to dethrone them, giftcards or not.

I think the top 2 next week would be:

1. Impossible

2. Scream & Shout

I agree with the poster above, I know X Factor singles are front-loaded, but I don't think I've ever seen one go from like 250,000 to 75,000 or something in the space of a week. I think it might get a 3rd week over 100,000.

Totally agree.

Yeah, I think that Impossible will go back to #1 next week as well. I also think that it could also get another week over 100k. :D

It looks like going from 490k to ~200k in a week - that's a 60% drop, so a similar one would see it on ~80k next week. That would make it easy prey to the Xmas voucher market...

In fact, here is my XF sales drop spreadsheet, updated :

So James Arthur is back to no. 1 on iTunes then. It seems Justice Collective benefit during the day and then James Arthur benefits in the evenings. Especially if the Kworb updates are anything to go off.

Judging from the above lists of sales, 'Impossible' second week sales have already bettered 4 of the above. Only 'Hallelujah', 'When We Collide' and 'The Climb' sold more (so far) in its second week, and James Arthur could easily sell more than 195,730 this week. Alexandra Burke's sales held up incredibly well all things considered.
