Discussion Thread Here

10 weeks top 20 for 'Don't You Worry Child' :D Still feels a tiny bit limp for their final single (being in a big minority thinking that I realise) but still very pleased to see it being such a huge hit.

geeky fact

this week the songs are falling with all numbers from 1 to 10

What a way to finish for SHM!!

Loving this Lumineers song more and more, and yet the only time i hear it is on the chart - why does nobody playlist this - it could have been massive - top 10 without radio support just an ad!!

Edited by steve201

Ho Hey  Do not understand the appeal of this song at all, it's very boring and folky for my liking. And it's #1 on the Spotify chart  And this is all without Radio 1 support
10 weeks longer in the top 40 for The Pogues compared to Mariah with their xmas song!
This is the most boring song in the chart by far. There's quite literally nothing to it at all.
Bit late but there'll never be a better Christmas song than the Pogues  great to see it being the highest again

Although Pink rose to prominence as an R&B singer in the classic '90s LaFace mould, a front displayed on her debut CAN'T TAKE ME HOME, it was when she took control of her own image in 2001 that she truly became an icon. While the Linda Perry (4 Non Blondes) composed hit "Get This Party Started" strayed not all that far from her initial dance-pop path, the remainder of M!SSUNDAZTOOD revealed an artist schooled in the punk tradition. Further recordings wandered down multiple paths, cementing Pink's reputation as a genre-bending pop songstress. - HMV

Try! It's now my second favourite song by her behind Just Like A Pill. :D
Try is Pink's best song since Sober in my opinion. Still can't get enough of it, so glad it went Top 10 even if it needed X Factor as it's way too good for a #27 peak which is what it would have got
