Hey guys. For the 6th consecutive year I am doing a end of year chart reflecting my personal music tastes from the year. Cannot believe how quickly the year has flown to be honest. Feels too soon since the end of year chart for 2011.

Anyway it properly starts from the week commencing 24th December. Cannot wait.

For the time being here's the 2011 Top 10 of mine.

01: Will Young - Jealousy

02: Lady GaGa - The Edge Of Glory

03: Adele - Set Fire To The Rain

04: Coldplay - Paradise

05: Maroon 5 Ft Christina Aguilera - Moves Like Jagger

06: Adele - Rolling In The Deep

07: Christina Perri - Jar Of Hearts

08: Jessie J Ft B.O.B - Price Tag

09: Bruno Mars - Grenade

10: Pink - (F""kin) Perfect

Hope to hear some comments seeing as I barely post on here nowadays

The man responsible for my No.1 song of 2011, Will Young is no.98 with his first of two entries "I Just Want A Lover". The new song from Kelly's first Greatest Hit's album "Catch my Breath" is number 97 (she has a couple more apparences to come) followed by Train's 1st showing with "50 Ways to say Goodbye" at 96 and Mika's comeback single which bombed "Celebrate" ft Pharell shows up at 95. Example is telling us to keep our enemies closer at 94 and Noisettes return with the fantastic "That Girl" at 93. Finally X Factor 2010 Runner up Rebecca Ferguson comes in at 92 and Paloma Faith's rendition of INXS's "Never Tear us Apart" is 91. Paloma has 1 one more entry to come.

I agree on Tyler. Took me a bit of time for it to grow on me but it did thankfully. It's despicable No Doubt flopped so hard. They should still get top 40 hits DAMN IT

Much love for the GaGa btw :D

80-71

80: Rudimental Ft John Newman & Alex Clare - Not Giving In

79: Marina & The Diamonds - How To Be A Heartbreaker

78: Girls Aloud - Something New

77: Solange - Losing You

76: Jessie J Ft David Guetta - Laserlight

75: Aerosmith - Legendary Child

74: Ed Sheeran - Drunk

73: Philip Philips - Home

72: Ed Sheeran - Give Me Love

71: Keane - Silenced By The Night

Kicking things of in the next section are Rudimentals first entry with John Newman "Not Giving In" which is my 80th song of the year followed by Marina & The Diamonds first of a suprising 3 tracks for me considering I wasn't a fan 2 years ago. What a turn around she's done for me this year. Girls Aloud are 78 with comeback single "Something New" & Solange who charted in my 2008 end of year chart with "I Decided" (also really liked Sandcastle Disco too but failed to make my top 100 I seem to remember) returns with a massive change of direction in "Losing You" at 77. "Lazerlight" by Jessie J, "Lengendary Child" from Aerosmith come up at no.s 76 & 75 respectively. "Drunk" the first entry from Ed Sheeran shoot into 74th position meanwhile American Idol winner Philip Philips song "Home" is 73 & Ed Sheeran's final entry, the lovely "Give Me Love" is 72. Rounding off this area is the IMO return to form for Keane as their record "Silenced By The Night" is at 71.

So far...

99: Katy Perry - Part of Me

98: Will Young - I Just Want A Lover

92: Rebecca Ferguson - Backtrack

91: Paloma Faith - Never Tear Us Apart far too low :(

87: Wil I Am Ft Eva Simons - This is Love

85: No Doubt - Looking Hot

84: Alex Clare - Too Close

80: Rudimental Ft John Newman & Alex Clare - Not Giving In

79: Marina & The Diamonds - How To Be A Heartbreaker

78: Girls Aloud - Something New

77: Solange - Losing You
