If I have time tomorrow, its time for the top 10, otherwise sticking to the schedule on post 1, on page 1, the top 10 will be with added commentaries, with one act per post, basically the same format as last year.

Great to see Electra Heart sneaking into the top 10

I haven't actually listened to Emile's album (although i've felt like i've heard most of it already!)

I either love or haven't heard all the singles you've posted so far, which is definitely a good thing i think (don't dislike anything yet)

I'm actually pleased with how my chart is shaping up there are some great tracks, I guess there is a few from BJSC, and listening to the tracks again as I'm conjuring up the chart together, makes me loving them even more, especially the ones I haven't listen to in ages.

Ahh, didn't realise you had already started posting your end of year charts.

21 Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing

Well, I think most Buzzjackers already know how much more I prefer the Calvin Harris remix of 'Spectrum (Say My Name)' and also how it provided a :D moment when it topped the UK charts.

25 Tegan & Sara – Closer

If 'Closer' is as high as #25 then that suggests that 'Bodywork' must be somewhere in your top 10 tracks of 2012.

28 Swiss Lipz – Danz

Funny how since I've entered BJSC, it's completely taken control of my chart. It's also meant I've discovered so many future hits before release and due to the way I compile my own chart, it's certainly refreshed my chart completely. I can't imagine what my chart would be like these days without the BJSC effect.

30 David Guetta feat. Sia – Titanium

Did 'Titanium' make your Top 40 of 2011? This was an instant hit for me peaking at no. 3 not long after this was first released in August 2011. It finished 11th in my Chart of 2011 although it did return to my top 20 back in January for a couple of weeks.

32 Swedish House Mafia feat. John Martin – Don’t You Worry Child

Without a doubt their biggest hit in my chart. It's a shame that they called it a day as SHM were clearly just getting better and better with each new single. SHM most certainly ended on a high note. Hope this goes top 10 in the US Billboard Hot 100, or even better goes all the way to #1. That'd be incredible.

I shall keep a look for your top 20 of the year.

I usually do the chart over the last 4 days of the year, finishing off the top 10 on New Years Eve, it just seems so fitting as its the end of the year.

21 Calvin Harris/Florence, Spectrum is yet to come, I do prefer Spectrum to Sweet Nothing though.

25 Tegan & Sara, Closer is just so catchy, and I still love it now, its chart run is just amazing 22-10-5-3-3-3-3-5-1-1-1  9 weeks in the top 5, I still can't let go of the track. My top 10 has got 4 tracks that were featured in BJSC, just goes to show you can find some real gems, and Body Work is somewhere inside the top 10

30 David Guetta/Sia, originally peaked #7 in August/September 2011 never did feature in the year end chart of 2011, I re-release it at the beginning of the year when the track really took off, the track culminated 26 weeks in my chart, altogether. As I was trying to order my chart, the track just ended up at #30 in the end, the above tracks just sounded a lot better.

32 Swedish House Mafia/John Newman, its probably the only track from them I really like, Greyhound is another track of theirs I like, Don't You Worry Child is probably their best hit of their career, finishing on top form.

12 Lana Del Rey - Born To Lie

Peaked: 1

Ain't it Born to die Martin

I've heard barely any of 11-20! :o

These are all good tracks Martin:

13 CHVRCHES – Lies - not sure why I've never listened to this, really need to.

14 Adele – Skyfall

21 Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing

22 Santigold – Disparate Youth

23 Labrinth feat. Emeli Sande – Beneath You Beautiful

24 Sub Focus feat. Alpines – Tidal Wave

26 Blondfire – Where The Kids Are

27 Grimes – Genesis

30 David Guetta feat. Sia – Titanium - in my top 20 of last year, still a great track

31 Little Boots – Every Night I Say A Prayer

32 Swedish House Mafia feat. John Martin – Don’t You Worry Child

36 Little Dragons – Sunshine - good to see someone else liking this.

37 Polica – Lay Your Cards Out

39 The XX – Angels

40 Marina & The Diamonds – Primadonna

18 Paloma Faith - Picking Up The Pieces

16 Kylie Minogue - Timebomb

15 Owl City feat. Carly Rae Jepsen - Good Time

14 Adele - Skyfall

12 Lana Del Rey - Born To Lie

11 Emeli Sande - My Kind Of Love

10 fun. feat. Janelle Monae - We Are Young

Peaked: 1 (2wks)

One track that really took me by surprise, I was on the fence over it at first, it just grew on me on every listen and became of one my favourite tracks of the year. The track is really punchy and catchy, with a big help from Janelle Monae.

9 Of Monsters & Men - Little Talks

Peaked: 13

First came across this track in BJSC competition, I wasn't really keen on it at first, another track just grew on me, and stuck around in my personal chart for a large amount of weeks, but only peaked at No.13.

8 Purity Ring - Obedear

Peaked: #3

This is just beautiful its probably one of their best tracks to date. Its one of those tracks that grows on every listen, been around my personal chart for 18 weeks, just couldn't let it go.

7 Kyla La Grange - Walk Through Walls

Peaked: 2

One of my BJSC entries and it remains one of my favourite entries with another track to come from BJSC. Its a powerful rock ballad, once it sinks into your head the track really takes off, and the chorus is so powerful and addictive.

6 Morgan Page feat. Tegan & Sara - Body Work

Peaked: 1 (3wks)

This has to be one of my favourite dance tracks of the year and just missing out on a top 5, it remains my firm favourite BJSC entry of all time, its catchy and very infectious, it has a catchy hook towards the end of the track, this would have made a great official top 40 hit, its a shame it didn't cross over.

5 Bat For Lahes - Laura

Peaked: 1 (4wks]

A beautiful paino laden track by Natasha, spine tingling and gives you goosebumps when listening to the track, her album The Huanted Man is one great album, notable tracks from the album come from Lilies, A Wall and Laura, but the album never disappoints, not even a bad track on the album, has to be one of the albums of the year for me.

Great chart Martin,

I love "Laura", "Obedear" and "Little Talks" from your Top 10 so far. All Top 3 hits on my chart this year. :D

4 Woodkid - Run Boy Run

Peaked #2

A powerful rock track which took my personal chart by storm amassing over 26 weeks in total in the end, probably the most stand out rock track of the year, it was first discovered in BJSC competition, and the track just ticked all the right boxes with me straight away. Thank you Espen.

3 Emeli Sande - Next To Me

Peaked: #2

What can I say about this artist a brilliant year for Emeli Sande, with a great album to boot, Next To Me remains my firm favourite track from her album, Next To Me reminds me a bit like Rolling In The Deep in places with powerful drums, there is never a dull track on the album, its just brilliant. Her voice is just perfection, some great tracks on the album from Clown, Read All About It (Part III), Mountains, the list is endless. Hoping Emeli Sande picks 2 Brit Awards in the new year for the best album and best female solo artist.
