If they are selling 10K a day... so 15% is about 1.5K at best and that's for a FULL day... and this is only 12 hours left... and the gap was more than 1.5K I guess... it will be a 800 copies difference and James will win... :(

But isn't the iTunes chart a rolling 48 hours? So if they're already around 15% ahead they have been selling substantially more than him for the last two days.

Who is buying "Sex on Fire" and "Chasing Cars"? surely everyone has a copy still. Needs to be a limit imposed.

Hope James Arthur gets another week at the top. Don't want that Britney abomination getting there.

Why are the 59p songs climbing so much on a Saturday? :o They're not Psy!

But 'Mr. Brightside' at 40 is pleasing to see. :D

There was a 52 week limit at one stage some years ago.

A sale is a sale, it's no less legitimate for an old song than for a new release.

If people are buying it, then it should be reflected in the chart, simple as that.

Not *this* again - the charts would be very empty if every song someone was tired of, got excluded...

Even if JA is still top tomorrow, I can't see anything stopping Britney the week after... :)

Fantastic to see "Paradise" as high as #29 again on iTunes - hopefully a re-entry into the T40 this week.

Not sure if anyone had mentioned it, but "Mr. Brightside" could have received a little boost (on top of being 59p) for being sung by Cameron Diaz in film 'The Holiday' yesterday on ITV2. Unlikely, hey, but you never know.

Maybe people still have some credit left from gift cards?

What are the chances of Will.i.am and Britney being number 1 this week????

I'd say that their chances are not very high. James Arthur will go to #1 this week, but there will be a very small margin between the two songs (2,000-3,000 copies).

Haim doing excellently, I did not expect "Don't Save Me" to get such a boost.

Imagine Dragons seem to like the #40 position, haven't moved for days. Should be enough for a re-entry officially with multiple versions ahead of them but despite better TV play now they might struggle to climb hugely since Radio 1 inexplicably dropped "Radioactive". I can only assume that "It's Time" is being released sooner rather than later.

So I'm guessing to scale all the values on Kworb you'd have to divide it by the combined popularity of Scream & Shout? If so:

1. Scream & Shout - 1.0000

2. Impossible - 0.8719

3. I Knew You Were Trouble - 0.7373

NO...

It's 110 Vs. 90. It's already a 20% lead!!! I'd say 771 copies will give James the number 1... but next week it's Britney's!

Which ironically would have been the week it was due to be released!

Lets hope that if James get's #1 this week that S&S can hold on and get it next week.

Niggas In Paris is doing so well, can't believe still at #20! It's total sales must be really high. (Being 59p helps, but it feels so old now been out a long time).

Love that Latch is still as high as #18 too

Sweet Nothing has had an amazing chart run too, still #28  One of my favourite releases of last year!

Beauty and A Beat didn't peak as high as I thought it would, but it's also had great longevity.

Paradise - Coldplay  #30, 59p. Is this being used in an advert? I think I remember hearing it on TV but can't think of the ad.

Try has done so well too! :D

I almost wish it didn't get top 10, so it could have gone down as one of the biggest selling non-top 10 hits

It's still played everywhere in clubs etc so it's no shock it is still doing so well.

Also come on Scream and Shout! :cheer:

109. Animal

Yeah so true, I think it'll always be one of those songs played on a night out! It just feels so old so for it to be #20 still is really impressive.

Meh I thought that's how values are scaled.
