Frank Ocean  #30 - why is this climbing so fast now!? About time

This is always played on Radio 1 so that is probably the main reason.

Gangnam Style at #20. How long has it been since this was as low as that?

Edited by Pablo Escobar

784. Cry Me A River

867. 50 Cent - Ayo Technology (feat. Justin Timberlake)

986. Rock Your Body

1122. What Goes Around... / ...Comes Around Interlude

1315. Señorita

If he doesn't release the new song in the UK on Monday too, i'm going to personally pay him a visit and spank him! :nono:

Does this mean that 110% (If You're Never Gonna Move) is going to climb into the Top 40 as well? :kink: I can dream! :(

Probably not, unless they mention '110%' was the old name, every time they play it. The general UK public are unaware that it is probably already available on the album under that name. 'If You're Never Gonna Move' will get most it's impact on release week.

Nick Grimshaw mentions it, but I'm not sure if any other DJ mentions it. I don't see the point in re-releasing it to be honest, surely everyone who wanted it would have downloaded it by now? At least I hear it on the radio as much as I listen to it out of choice these days.

I always thought it was too subtle/laidback for it to be released so early in her career. I think it would have faired far better as a 3rd or 4th single (like it is serving now), but I get your point. I do hope it can at least reach top 40 this time.

Oh go Taylor, would love her to snatch the #1 from will.i.am somehow (not gonna happen though). Starting to get bored of 'Scream & Shout' again but 'I Knew You Were Trouble.' is still growing on me with every listen.

As much as I like '110%' I kind of hope it doesn't rechart simply because I would have no idea what to do with it in my spreadsheet, unusual situation with its title abruptly changing between its chart runs.

Matrix & Futurebound  to #26. Wow at Frank Ocean now being top 30, could outpeak 'No Church In The Wild'! I think he could re-release a few of the earlier 'channel ORANGE' singles and turn them into at least kinda-hits now like Ben Howard/Δ.

I think that it will peak at around #50-#70. I personally think that this song is too out there for the public to appreciate but I do think that it'll reach a new peak anyway. We'll see!

This week is S&S next one is Taylor...

Or JT????????????? maybe, 65K will be enough... I would die if that happens!

50 Cent is surely a cert to be at least top 3 next week? Hopefully Justin (whatever he puts out), Will and Taylor will all prevent that from happening though (providing Justin obviously releases something at the same time as the US etc.). Will.I.Am's lost his chance now for #1 next week, his number 1 this week will be the lowest for a number 1 in a while and I can't see him increasing too much/if at all next week. It's why Taylor is rapidly increasing now, low sales, she'll get 60k+ next week I think! (Hers and Will's singles will probably swap sales for next week )

EDIT: Actually how much did Gabrielle Aplin sell? 53k? Will, will get over that this week.

I think that 50 Cent will get Top 3 next week! I don't think that he'll get to #1, either Justin or Will.I.Am will be strong enough to stop him.

MY TOP 5 PREDICTION FOR NEXT WEEK:

01 Justin Timberlake - I'm Ready (?)

02 Will.I.Am feat Britney Spears - Scream And Shout

03 50 Cent feat Eminem & Adam Levine - My Life

04 Taylor Swift - I Knew You Were Trouble

05 James Arthur - Impossible or One Direction - Kiss You

This week is S&S next one is Taylor...

That will be old singles from 2012 climbing to #1 every week.

Taylor Swift is now on 99.5% combined with the 2nd version at #43.

Will.I.Am/Britney are still at #1 with 111.66% with the 2nd version at #45.

brit.i.am will definitely nab that #1 then :D So excited for next weeks chart. It's sure to be as intense, if not more than this weeks. :)

At the moment, "110%" and "If You're Never Gonna Move" are both in the iTunes 200, at 191 and 144 respectively. Will they be combined or not? "110%" has already had a #61 peak by the way.

I have that covered already :smoke:

This is Lost, isn't it? :o I love the song, but I'm so surprised that it's this high (if it is Lost :P).

I'm surprised to see any Frank Ocean song that high on iTunes.
