Like I said yesterday, Scream & Shout has it in the bag.

I'm not too sure! :o It depends how strong the sales are today etc (and i'm trying to keep the suspense going until 7pm tomorrow ).

Justin is by far my favourite of the three (even though he's well out of it by now). I like S&S more than My Life, but it would be good to see Fifty at #1 finally.

It really is just a case of who'll succeed in a low sales climate, there doesn't seem to be any 'big' releases scheduled. The likes of Bowie and Justin Timberlake were OA/OS-released, and thus are more likely to be steady sellers rather than #1 for weeks on end.

I'd much rather have "Scream & Shout" dominate the chart summit for a few weeks while the likes of Taylor Swift and Rihanna settle for runners-up and build a decent sale total. 50 Cent falling 1-4 potentially next week is something I'd rather not have; just as a high Bingo Players debut is only going to end badly. Shock #1 for Amelia Lily perhaps? Haha.

Oh no, I hate that Bingo Players song!

Yet it's #26 in your personal chart

Looks like will.i.am is going to be #1 again :D Would've preferred 50 Cent as it's fresh but S&S is amazing so whatever the outcome it'll be great as long as Justin's not #1

Bingo Players would be a fresh and unusual #1 if it gets there so i wouldn't mind if it was number 1. The worst outcome for next week is Scream & Shout staying there for another boring week.

the original would be 'fresh and unusual', but this new one with some rent-a-rappers tacked on is pretty awful. The only reason I want it to be number 1 is the rather awesome video and the fact Scream & Shout would be the only other realistic contender.

It's too catchy for me to resist. It's in my personal chart for reasons due to not getting the song out of my mind. But Get Up is alright, it's just that Rattle is diabolical. :puke:

Yep, the way it's pulled the lead out to about 30% over the course of the day has made me completely doubt my earlier calculation - ah well!

I realise this is probably an old question but does the current 30% lead represent cumulative sales over the previous 24/36/48 hours or is that kworb thing just a snapshot of current sales activity?

Nope it's 48 hours (or so we're led to believe) so S&S is actually selling more right now than it appears according to Kworb.

Thank you.

If it's sold 30% more in the past 48 hours then Brit.i.am should easily overturn the 4K lead, they'd only have to sell about 17K over the two days.

Combined LivePopBars

#1 Scream & Shout 116.5%

#2 I Knew You Were Trouble 92%

#3 My Life 81%

#4 Suit & Tie 78%

#5 Stay 78%

#6 Drinking From The Bottle 77%

#12 Gangnam Style 41%

'Scream & Shout' does look in a better position to overtake 50 Cent now. Could go either way.

 44. Radioactive - Rita Ora

If Imagine Dragons can actually shift themselves back into the official top 40 (they always seem to be there on iTunes but never officially apart from that first week obviously) there could be two completely unrelated songs called 'Radioactive' entering the top 40 next week!

Scream and Shout getting played on Celeb Big Brother (is it being sponsored by the song or something?) Could give it that essential last push for the #1!

... and sounded amazing too! :P

Lets hope Marina and the Diamonds and Kings of Leon's versions will be reduced to 59p... :P

It's not very often there's such a close three way battle for the number one single.

It's been fascinating all week, and it still could be any one of the three that tops the chart.

It will also be very interesting to see the MW sales reports on Monday to see exactly how close it was.

 74. Ellie Goulding - Explosions

Great to see this getting such a boost from the ITV advert!

Oh yay, was not expecting that to go top 100 :D Is this going to be the next single or has it just been picked for an ad for no particular reason? I need her to release 'Atlantis'.

( to #71 now!)

Biffy still #29 with 'Black Chandelier' and #18 on the albums chart, held up pretty well. Should cling onto the official top 15, fingers crossed for at least #13. Then just a second week top 40 would be great (and their album is out the week after next which might possibly give it a third week? The album itself should be cruising to #1 no problem).
